Really lovely food, although disappointed there was no kebab and chocolate fountain not working, also the mens toilets are terrible very dirty and floors filthy. We will visit again but not in a hurry.

Good food lots of choice always being topped up drinks are expensive

Firstly, the direction on the map is wrong to guide to delivery park. Second, I booked before 2-3 days ago and I said my name on the counter but she completely ignored and so unfriendly. We started eating the food and not quite good quality either. Big muscle emptied but didn't fill up and I asked ,crabs , oh dear it was rotten. Last the dessert part ,fly landed on the cake so we can't eat it either. It was my daughter's 15 birthday and we want to have a special but sorry ,I wouldn't go again.

To be sincere, we are not quite happy with the meal. there are several sections of meals ranging from Chinese to Asia food and we were quite disappointed as there are no African meals especially as about 80% of attendance yesterday were blacks. My husband got upsets and left. Funny enough it was my birthday yesterday and I wanted to treat my family. Could I reckon that an African chef should be employed so we can have variety of African meals as well. Thank you and do have a nice day.

Visited Spoons at Basildon to celebrate our Granddaughters 6th Birthday,... Food was good, but staff have no people skills, despite Balloons on table and her wearing a birthday tiara, not one member of staff wished her a Happy Birthday, and although she is only 6 , she actually said 'No one has said Happy Birthday to me '...The lady making the crepes was like a Statue from the wax works, she didn't smile, talk of even make eye contact. Our experience of a birthday celebration , would have been so much nicer if only one member of staff had smiled or shown some interaction with the customers. Would have to think twice about visiting again as the experience was very sterile...pay your money, eat and leave and don't even expect a thank you or a goodbye greeting as you leave

First time coming here and it was great. Food was tasty and very yummy. Staff members were friendly. There was a lot to eat. Great buffet.

I visited Spoons for the second time. Food was delicious, if I had 1 complaint it would be that the man cooking the steak didn't know what he was doing. He asked me how I liked it cooked, I told him "medium rare" it didn't matter what I or anyone else said as we all got our steaks cooked the same. "Well done".

The ambiance was good. As for front door service where they take the payment was poor. No smile, no hello. Just very sultry. The floor supervisor was friendly. Food as good and fresh on the day we went

Omg was excellent

Meal was okay and a lot of variety. I wish we could have like Nigerian Jollof rice, not a bad idea. The dessert would have been my favorite but all the cake sponges was too dry. A little syrup would have made the difference. My kids enjoyed their meals. Welldone

Very tasty food, friendly atmosphere, perfect lunch out.

Food was very standard some of the food was very dry, some salty and flavourless one of the members of staff was very rude when my children spilt a small amount of chocolate she came over and raised her voice and then continued staring at the us for the rest of the evening the desserts were not the best chocolate éclairs had something yellow in that had a lumpy texture and the chocolate gateau was extremely dry and rock hard was very disappointing after years of not going we thought it would be a nice family outing but left rather disappointed

Was a lovely meal and nice atmosphere that was atleast until one of the servers started pushing tables and chairs next to us which makes for an unpleasant background noise and to then be greeted by the smell of floor cleaner which didn't make things more positive
