We went for a Sunday lunch yesterday.The roasts were very nice and plentiful. The service was very friendly,helpful and speedy. The atmosphere was pleasant and not intrusive. The cost was acceptable and we will return.

We went for a meal during Pie Week. We had a lovely evening with great food and service. The pies had generous portions of meat and we enjoyed the side portions of vegetables.Although the staff were very busy they always made sure we were catered for. Will be returning soon hopefully.

Went with the family for the pie week. We all had the chicken & gammon pie for lunch. Some had mash, some chips. All served with fresh veg. We all really enjoyed our pies. Some had puddings which all went down well. Portions for all the food was good. Staff were all very friendly & service was excellent. Will certainly return.

We went to Pie Night and thoroughly enjoyed the steak pie and the fidgety pie. Packed with meal and beautifully cooked. Lots of veg on the side. I would question whether potatoes are necessary when the pie has pastry or a mash potato topping so I swapped mine out for extra veg. We will certainly visit again. Great service - very friendly. Dog friendly too.

The only thing that I was not happy with was the church pew that I sat on along with another couple on the next table. The bench constantly moved back and forward as the couple moved. I didn’t feel I could ask them to sit still. Better seating would have improved my experience Everything else was great thanks

It's the only place, that I know of, in my area that I can get Steak and Kidney pudding - homemade too. It's full of big chunks of steak and kidney and the pastry is a delight. If I could just teach Southerners that gravy should nearly stand up for itself it would be perfect lol. It was Rye Scallops week when we went and 2 of our party had the scallops with lobster bisque risotto and our 4th had the fish pie. We all enjoyed our meals. Although we were getting full we managed to have dfssert. Crimble Crumble and custard. A good end to a wonderful meal.

Superb meal and service, as always, our No. 1 Restaurant choice in Bexhill. Just wish a little more choice on the Main menu.

Great service for me and my two sons who had travelled down to enjoy tha steak and kidney pudding.. they were not disappointed lovely grub full of tasty meat

Family meal with dog. We all had a roast, including the dog. Service was friendly and relaxed. Food was so tasty, empty plates all round. Puddings for everyone again including the dog. Have been a few times and never been disappointed. Will be back soon.

Myself and 3 friends enjoyed the Meze evening on Thursday. Staff very welcoming food decent and reasonably priced.

Had a lovely meal in the Denbigh, Food was really good and the service was also good, food was served fairly quickly and the waitress was very polite and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Attracted by Burns night menu. Food took a while to arrive but the chicken Carnoustie was tasty enough. At £25 per head for two courses not bad VFM. Considering it was a Saturday night the pub was pretty quite. No doubt be back in coming months.

We had a lovely roast here, plenty of food and gravy! It came out very hot and a good amount of food for the price. We also had a pudding, and our party of 4 all had something different, all were lovely. I do find puddings over priced, not just here but at most pubs/restaurants. The service was very good and attentive. We will definitely go back.

Excellent fish pie as always!

Lovely warm atmosphere with welcoming , attentive staff. Easy parking. Good selection on the menu and we can recommend the excellent tasty fish pie and fish and chips. For the summer months there is a semi covered eating area. Highly recommend.
