Great food, steak and kidney was the best I have tasted since my mum died. Lovely to sit "inside.....outside" and the service was very good and food hot. Thank you we will return.

Had a meal last night. Brilliant as always. Charlie is an asset to the Denbigh.

Dear team I appreciate serving the public can be difficult and I hope you take my review as a learning curve. The girls tried to look after us but with two 90+ adults it proved difficult. They did try to find us space for more leg room but the pews were too narrow and uncomfortable for elderly people. We were also put in a drafty position that they couldn’t cope with. They did find us a place upstairs but the door there was also open and the table was cramped for five people. For the meal we mainly had roasts and although the plates were hot the food wasn’t warm enough. The beef slices were wafer thin and my parents said the lamb was full of gristle and fat which they couldn’t chew. My mother said it hadn’t been cooked long enough! The young waitresses had no idea what a cruet was and there seems to be some basic service requirements missing. We used to fully enjoy coming to you but this fell short of a good experience.

The meal was delicious and great value. 2 of us had the curry of the day, chicken and coconut, while one had the steak and kidney pudding. The meals were freshly prepared, well presented, and tasty. It wasn’t our first visit and won’t be our last. The staff member, who was managing the bar and food orders alone, worked incredibly hard and maintained friendly and devoted attention throughout. She deserves considerable reward for keeping the place running. The chef, who must have been operating at high pace and pressure produced commendable dishes. Well done. We look forward to joining you again soon.

Excellent service provided from the young ladythat served us.. The food was outstanding. Will be planning to return soon.

We love the Denbeigh ❤️ recently moved to the area , it’s so nice to have a local pub we can walk to , with the most amazing food . The menu has many Gluten Free options which is great to see , The staff are always so helpful and attentive, they all work very hard to ensure everyone feels welcome . Lovely to see young vibrant people taking pride in their work. If you’re looking for great food and service with a friendly relaxed atmosphere look no further

Stopped by for the goat curry. Superb meal. Also friend had the burger, which was just as good. Great service too !!

Great location with parking and nice staff. Great outdoor space too. Menu is pretty much the same every time I come but at least I know what it's going to be like and am never disappointed.

Lovely lunch sitting outside in the pavilion. Didn’t feel rushed… enjoyed our drinks while waiting for food. Disappointed they had run out of crab, but the sea bass was nice too Food was cooked and presented beautifully Friendly waitress service Doggie enjoyed her dinner too! See you again soon.

Pub was extremely busy on arrival, no one acknowledged us for 10 minutes and we waited standing at the bar for a member of the staff to make eye contact but we kept on being ignored and customers arriving after us waving their empty glass were being served! We eventually were shown to our table, we had the Greek menu. The starter was nice, we waited for the main course for a very long time, the haddock was ok and the chicken was very nice. We didn’t like the dessert, almond and lemon cake with ice cream. it was terrible, we only had the vanilla ice cream. Very disappointed with whole experience. Won’t be coming back.

Lovely experience. The addition of the summer salad to the menu was very welcome and the salmon was spot on. Duck and avocado salad was very generous. The staff were very busy but it was always service with a smile. Highly recommended - we'll be going back very soon.

Lovely friendly staff and plenty of them. Atmosphere was relaxed, no one was rushing around and we certainly did feel rushed. We had plenty of time between courses too. We had our dog with us, she enjoyed the doggy menu. Food was very tasty, definitely great value. Thank you all for your service.

An excellent Sunday Lunch. Outstanding value. Welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely. Not the first time I've eaten at the Denbigh, and I've yet to be disappointed.

Have enjoyed the food in the past but was a bit disappointed with the Lebanese Night. Service was good and there is always a friendly atmosphere. On this occasion I do not feel it was good value for money.
