I can’t say enough good things about this place. The server was a delight, the food was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely divine! Go here for wonderful food and service. It was well worth it in every sense!

From our arrival to our departure we felt fully welcomed and cared for during our entire visit. The serving team were so kind and friendly, while still being efficient and professional. We've eaten here a few times before over several years, and so we had high expectations. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint and we all found ourselves squashing in 3 courses in our bellies! I'm a vegetarian, and it was a pleasant surprise to have some delicious options at a pub known mostly for serving quality Game. My friends enjoyed the venison burgers, and the fish and chips was a big hit too. Very happy with the whole experience (even booking online was so easy!), and we will be back soon...

As there were only two of us we were put on a small table next to the tv and a crowd of men who were in for a pre match drink so you can imagine it was quite noisy and the language was a bit fruity. The food was good and plenty of it although my curry wasn't very warm but the waitress warmed it up and then it was fine.

For the quality and range of food the price is very reasonable, good value for money,, and less than many other local pubs. I have returned again yesterday and had wild boar fillet with grilled apple slices, mash with lovely pickled red cabbage and pureed peas and pea shoots. It was lovely
