COVID friendly and as always food was amazing. Best Italian we have been to. First time ever I had the Dover sole and it was amazing. All five of us were all in agreement that the eve I g was wonderful especially topped off by strawberries and ice cream. Must try for everyone Superb evening

Vine Inn – StourbridgeCame with friends for Sunday lunch as we were staying on a nearby campsite to visit them as they live in halesowen . French onion soup had far too many onions in. Infact it was all onion. Two starters came out together our husbands had to wait another 15 mins as they had given there starter to another couple. waited nearly an hour anyhow just for the starter. Then the main meal come out only my husband had to send his back as his food was cold he had the chicken dinner.. so we again were not eating together. Desert was lovely.. The drinks are a bit pricey too. large red house wine was 7.50 each. I thought was a bit expensive just for the house wine. So overall was not very impressed. I thought the staff should be wearing masks with the corona virus about. But none of the staff had them on.

We had book for my very dear friends 70th Birthday She wanted a classic traditional Italian meal and that was absolutely what we got. All the team were wonderful especially Anne who with her professional service and warm hospitality made our time truly wonderful. Would highly recommend and will book again very soon.
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldThis was our first visit to Da Gino, it was my 70th birthday and I wanted to celebrate with my two dearest friends of years at lunch time into the afternoon. I wanted something traditional, comfortable and leisurely with really good Italian food. We had starters, main course and deserts Da Gino more than lived up to my and friends expectations. The food was excellent, we all had different dishes and none of us were disappointed. Unbeknown to myself, my friends had arranged for a birthday cake which the staff (whose service was excellent) presented singing happy birthday with gusto, it was wonderful. Anne, Gino’s wife, despite being so busy made the time to make it so personal finishing it off with a complimentary glass of Grappa (my favourite). We all agreed we would book our Christmas lunch their this year.

Service was welcoming and friendly. the selection from the menu was wide and varied. The quality of food from the starter, main course and dessert selection was fantastic! Waiters were attentive and the "Specials" were a very popular choice at our table. The only criticism I would have was that the bill took too long to arrive.

Vine Inn – StourbridgeArrived to a lovely reception very friendly lady. Ordered the food menu smaller because of Covid. Ordered king scallops and fillet steak. The scallops arrived in shells and looked delicious, the scallops had been sliced to make to look more the sauce was good but the scallops did not taste fresh all the juice was gone out of them. The steak arrived that was supposed to be cooked on charcoal, it was tasteless lacked seasoning and it seemed like it had been dried out on a grill. The vegetables were over cooked. This is the third time we have been and it will be the last.
