Superb food, excellent service as always .

I was so pleased with the whole experience at Da Gino’s from the warm friendly welcome to the attentive service and the food was beautiful. We had book for my very dear friends 70th Birthday She wanted a classic traditional Italian meal and that was absolutely what we got. All the team were wonderful especially Anne who with her professional service and warm hospitality made our time truly wonderful. Would highly recommend and will book again very soon.

This was our first visit to Da Gino, it was my 70th birthday and I wanted to celebrate with my two dearest friends of years at lunch time into the afternoon. I wanted something traditional, comfortable and leisurely with really good Italian food. We had starters, main course and deserts Da Gino more than lived up to my and friends expectations. The food was excellent, we all had different dishes and none of us were disappointed. Unbeknown to myself, my friends had arranged for a birthday cake which the staff (whose service was excellent) presented singing happy birthday with gusto, it was wonderful. Anne, Gino’s wife, despite being so busy made the time to make it so personal finishing it off with a complimentary glass of Grappa (my favourite). We all agreed we would book our Christmas lunch their this year.

Food was lovely, but service was very rushed, asked for our meal choice, before even asking us what drinks we wanted. Made us feel like they needed the table back but nobody was booked after us.

We have eaten here before and been well pleased with everything.Not disappointed today.A good menu of well-cooked and tasty food ( had 3 courses which is unusual for us) and will be eager to return for more.

We booked a table for 6 on Saturday 22 August 2020. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant. Service was welcoming and friendly. the selection from the menu was wide and varied. The quality of food from the starter, main course and dessert selection was fantastic! Waiters were attentive and the "Specials" were a very popular choice at our table. The only criticism I would have was that the bill took too long to arrive.

Really enjoyed our meal on Saturday at Da Ginos, made very welcome. Food and service was excellent. In a lovely area, will definitely be back.

Da Gino is a local restaurant, which we always enjoy going to. The food and service are excellent.

This was our first meal out since the pandemic.The food,service,hygiene standards were excellent.It was obvious that the management and staff have worked really hard to open again.We really enjoyed the evening,will definitely be going back soon.

Arrived to a lovely reception very friendly lady. Ordered the food menu smaller because of Covid. Ordered king scallops and fillet steak. The scallops arrived in shells and looked delicious, the scallops had been sliced to make to look more the sauce was good but the scallops did not taste fresh all the juice was gone out of them. The steak arrived that was supposed to be cooked on charcoal, it was tasteless lacked seasoning and it seemed like it had been dried out on a grill. The vegetables were over cooked. This is the third time we have been and it will be the last.

Excellent food- really good quality and quantity. The staff who served us were brilliant and attentive- a good experience all round.

The manakeesh were a joke, and I suspect they simply didn't expect customers to know what these were. Just a tiny but of loaf with thyme on? They should respect customers more .

We booked a table for 5 for Sunday lunch and the service was excellent. The quality of the food was great and the beef was cooked to perfection. We coild not fault anything and will definately be returning.

Outstanding service! People serving (the owner?) and the ladies are all lovely. Will definitely recommend it for service and ambience.

10/10 . Never disappointed with the food, good home cooked cuisine, none of this microwave rubbish. Simon and the staff are very accommodating, adding to a lovely place to eat out. Would recommend to anyone

Great food but the owner needs to take a course in customer service skills. He spoilt what should have been a lovely evening.

We have frequented the Vine a number of times and have always enjoyed good food and drinks there. We particularly like the specials as my partner is very much into seafood, fish and game. On this occasion he enjoyed the saddle of rabbit while my own steak was very nice and a good portion. On hearing it was my partners birthday they gave us an extra sweet that resembled a birthday cake presented with a chorus of happy birthday that was much appreciated. The Vine had made adjustments for the pandemic and we felt these worked well and we felt very safe eating there. We will certainly be returning in the future.
