New Inn Chinese Buffet Restaurant – WolverhamptonVery good value, I use it regularly for lunch. Choice is good and buffet is kept moving so not just warm.
New Inn Chinese Buffet Restaurant – WolverhamptonEXCELLENT FANTASTIC.. FOOD DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Balti Bazaar – StirchleyStonkingly good Balti with stupendous Nan bread capable of putting out a large fire! The staff are unfailingly friendly and the food is, like they say, cooked to order and well worth the short wait. I can't imagine that you'll find better Indian cuisine in the area.
Royal Watan – Selly OakI love eating at San Carlo - the staff always make you feel so welcome, and the food is delicious. Their special board always has different dishes on it - which is nice, as I seem to eat there often - and they never fail to disappoint. I recommend their fish dishes - they're always fresh and taste really great.
San Carlo – Birmingham City Centrei was pleasantly amazed by the newly refurbished kingshead, we had planned to go out for a Sunday lunch with family and friends but our first choice of restaurant was shut due to maintenance being carried out, so we had a look around and came across this lovely revamped pub, we went to enquire about booking a table and was greeted immediately by a warm inviting smile, a party of 20 was just leaving the restaurant so our party of 18 was able to seat within 5 minutes. the food was tasty, well presented and served by friendly staff who were attentive throughout. i will say though that we were unaware of the new kingshead we just came across it by mistake, i just hope that more people make the same mistake as it was a really enjoyable experience and we are sure to return!!!!!!!!
The Kings Head – HarborneAlways had consistently good food here and the staff are all really friendly. Good standard menu and large choice of 'specials' on offer. Plenty of seating available even when they're really busy with lots of nooks and crannies to choose from.
Four Oaks – Sutton ColdfieldIn a word - Outstanding! Glynn Purnell has been let loose with his creative freedom with his own venture in the City Centre and it can only serve to improve people's palattes. 3 of us went for Saturday dinner and opted for the 3 course a la carte (having tried the gastronique surprise last time), the desserts all sounded so tempting that we ordered all 4! Every single one of the ten different dishes we had were spectacular - even the amuse of cucumber sorbet, Ras El Hanout cream and mint oil was sublime. Service was friendly without being too familiar or indeed, too stuffy which you can find in some high-end dining establishments Purnell's is the kind of place that not only do I want to go back to, but my mouth is already watering at the prospect of doing so.
Purnell’s – Birmingham City CentreWhat a dive ! This USED to be an excellent place to eat with good decor, good food and pleasant staff...NOT ANY MORE. I wouldn't go there again if someone paid me to. Firstly you have to pay BEFORE you get your order of food - we were told it was because some yobs had 'done a runner' without paying - huh...so every decent person has to pay for their behaviour. The food is practically thrown at you and the waitress didn't speak enough English to be able to understand what we wanted for our sweets or starters. Grotty, smelly and in need of drastic refurbishment and new management !
Fox The – Sutton ColdfieldMy wife and myself have visited this restaurant twice in the last two weeks, i must say it must be at the very top of the Indian curry restaurants not just in Birmingham but nationally. Food especially anything lamb is superb, melt in your mouth and freshly spiced, tandoori starters also excellent quality, service is excellent also, costs also good value, nothing spared using first quality ingredients, we will be making it our number one Asian restaurant, i hope others try this one, you will not be disappointed
Jojolapa – Birmingham City CentreThe Beeches Bar and Grill Restaurant was absolutely a fantastic evening. Myself and partner went, and was pleased with the service, the menu offered, and the quality and taste of the final food. Not only that, the atmosphere within the Restaurant is also nice, with a calm neutral spacious setting and views extenuate the experience.
The Beeches Bar and Grill – SolihullNot from the area but this is the best fish and chips ive ever had, and the special spicy fish was beautiful, the staff are very friendly and the owner Pantelis is very welcoming. Cant wait to be back in the area.
Sea Queen The – ErdingtonVisit here quite frequently for a drink - good atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is not fancy but nice taste and price.
The Victoria – Birmingham City CentreWhat a complete waste of time, booked a table for 4 people, got to the Kings Head on time and we were not allowed in as we were not dressed properly !!??! We explained that we had booked a table to eat but we were rudely asked to leave as one of our friends was casually dressed but she did not fit the dress code and was.The most off putting thing is that we could not see any signs for dress codes, also we booked over the phone and visited there website which does not mention anything about how you should dress!!!!!.As we were leaving they were letting in people who were not as casually dressed up as we were..We left and went else were.Recently i have heard a lot about this place and it seems to be all the same, plus ive been told not to eat there as the service is bad..
The Kings Head – HarborneAthens Greek restaurant, Paradise Circus....Great food..but spoiled as food was served on cold plates, busy waiter, slow service, NO price list on Main Menu list.
Athens Restaurant – Birmingham City Centrethis restaurant is a blast into modern eating and traditional cultures. fantastic food quality, friendly service, beautiful decor and very talented belly dancers. a must visit for any occasion. this place is like being in london city
