We & other parties had to wait half an hour in a crowded bar area to be seated even though we had booked. It was very busy, all the tables were full & the staff weren’t wearing face masks or keeping a safe distance, having eaten at other restaurants during the coronavirus outbreak who are taking a lot of safety measures, we did not feel safe at all.

The meal was beautiful, we chose the Game pie and the Roast Pheasant which was well prepared and very filling. Our waiting staff Mark aka the ‘ Mark Angel’ was a good laugh and Kia very attentive. Lovely atmosphere and would definitely go again.

Staff were friendly but very professional in ensuring items such as salt pepper pots cleaned after every table use. Proper linen table cloths which gives a real restaurant touch. The locally sources morello cherry ice cream is lush.
