Bar Estilo – Birmingham City CentreThe most gorgeous food and great surroundings - I actually felt like I was in Mexico! Bottomless soft drinks are a great idea and saved us a few quid. We couldn't finish the large serving of fajitas or tacos. Will be going again (and again!)
Chiquito Restaurant and Bar – OldburyQuite simply, my favourite Balti restaurant. If in Birmingham try it. It isn't salubrious but the food is all that matters. The naan breads are enormous. especially pashwari nan and akram special nan is very delicious well done lads ten out of ten
Akrams Kashmiri – Stirchleyi used akrams for a number of years all my family and friends use akrams regularly. they make us very welcome food is excellent service out of the world cater for kids portion atmosphere is to experience music is very relaxing. all can say akrams is very contemporary restaurant the best in balti in Birmingham give it a go.
Akrams Kashmiri – Stirchleyi go Akram's almost every week in weekend there food is excellent but service is good. there kashmiri fish is very nice and tasty i never forget the taste of the kashmiri fish which they brings on sizzler with fresh mushrooms onions, tomatoes. the taste of kashmiri fish is excellent. and the the taste of there meals is very good specially tandoori mix special. my wife she like butter chicken too much. when i go there i use different types of meals but she like butter chicken and korma. there nans and egg fried rice is Delicious but i cant forget the taste of pashwari nan . service is good but not as you say excellent. but they provide good food and time. i checked many restaurant but the taste of the Akram's restaurant i never found any restaurant in England the taste of Akram and the taste of mumtaz restaurant in Bradford is same.
Akrams Kashmiri – Stirchleyi love kafe karachi food.i love charga they made best best one.i love nehari as well.kafe karachi's food like pakistani.i love to go there again and again.
Kafe Karachi – Balti TriangleI've been a customer of Bedders for as long as I can remember, and seen three generations of bedders in that time. The fish and chips has always been exceptional, literally the best by far in the midlands, and customers would travel for miles to wait in the always long (but fast moving) queue. However, I visited recently and for the first time, hardly any queue, and the food didn't quite taste the same. Also, none of the Bedders family in view, - have they sold up?
This Is Bedders – Birmingham City Centrehave visited this place twice as the decor is very nice and i felt it may have improved however i wont be going back as the service is dreadful, terribly long waiting times, items missing from the order, coffee arriving before desserts, and the waitress generally not knowing how to do things properly. dirty dishes where left deposited on tables, although she had started to clear them up she just moved them to another table and left them. very disappointing, also the manager/landlord has a very loud voice and was obviously trying to promote a proposed new building to his guests which where seated near our table - it was like charades!
Bassetts Pole The – Sutton ColdfieldExtensive menu and the food is of a consistently high standard. Friendly family run restaurant. Taking your own drink helps keep the cost down though prices are very reasonable anyway. Have found no other restaurant to compare with Imrans and I know many regulars travel quite a distance to eat there.
Imrans Restaurant – Balti TriangleATTENTION ALL YOU READERS YOU GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE Excellent Food Excellent Service Excellent Atmosphere Excellent Trendy Decor nothing left to say an quickly reserve your tables for Christmas
Royal Watan – Selly OakMy boyfriend took me out to San Carlo's a couple of weeks back for our anniversary. We both had a lovely evening and they gave us a good table away from the crowds. The food was great and the staff were really good in helping us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal .The whole evening was really romantic and we were surprised at the reasonable price of the bill. Will definitely be eating there again!
San Carlo – Birmingham City Centrepoor since takeover - seem to use cheep produce?
Marston Green Fish Bar – SolihullAnother one recommended to me..plenty to eat but nothing to shout home about..I'll keep looking round..i think the friend who recommended this place over done it a bit too much..
Shabar Brasserie – Sheldonnot too bad but found the lamb curry sweet tasting..would try something else though. satisfactory
Yew Tree Cottage – Yardleyonly had a take away..no complaints...
Poplar Balti and Tandoori Restaurant – Balti Trianglequite good. pricey due to location...
Koh-I-Noor – Birmingham City Centregot to akrams an was approached by a waiter who sat us on our table an then kept us waiting for our poppadoms which were soggy an not crispy came with a pickle tray with the mango chutney section having a poppadom crumb in there where did that come from I wonder told the waiter who changed it like a speeding bullet an brought back the same tray taking out the crumb OMG. Ordered a chicken tikka biryani the sauce was soggy with a little bit of canned vegetables in there, the biryani was rice which had been dipped in a bucket of oil, the balti chicken mushroom was decent but was not one of the best ones iv ever had the pilau rice was definitely not freshly made like I was told more like micro waved as the plate was hot all the way round it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work this out the peshwari naan was ok an when I asked for the bill an looked at the bill I was charged for a pickle tray which I did not even order!! When I argued with this to the old fag behind the counter he said it was a rule which I asked for the terms an conditions for all the rules an he got confused illiterate F**K when some fat bloke assuming it was his son intervened he said no matter which restaurant I go to the money will go in his pocket I don't know where the hell he came out with that from claiming his a major share holder in all the restaurants what a load off B*****KS an the amazing fact is when 3 other customers checked there bill they found this to be a fact as well will never go again will never ever ever ever go back to this S**T HOLE again rather travel the extra miles an go to yassers or royal watan, balti cottage better then this crap place
Akrams Kashmiri – StirchleyWent on Saturday night to the watan was busy as always but people were actually queuing lucky we had a table reserved(so no waiting for us ha ha ha) service was excellent food was absolutely out of this world just love going there an the owners good looking son imran following his fathers footsteps an checking on all the customers while his fathers away on holiday an making sure everyone enjoys there visit to the Watan.
