The Red Lion – CoventryWell, what can I say about The FABULOUS Red Lion pub in Corley ! My husband, Grandson and I were staying in a local hotel for the night, but I had decided to look for a local pub in which to eat I felt better food, country pub atmosphere, Christmassy & more laid back & chilled Having googled the area for pubs serving food, I decided on booking The Red Lion, based on photographs of the pub, reviews, & location to our hotel The Red Lion did NOT disappoint The atmosphere was both chilled, relaxed and homely. The interior and restaurant beautifully decorated and the staff friendly and attentive Massive HIGH FIVE to the chef LOUIS He must be mentioned as the food, starters, mains and deserts were absolutely cooked to perfection If we are ever up in the area again, for what ever reason, THE RED LION will be our must go to for food, relaxation and atmosphere Well done all of you ! A fantastic pub and would recommend going there if in the area
The Red Lion – CoventryVery good food and service as usual. Particularly enjoyed the celery, apple and sage soup. Enjoyed the open fire - otherwise would have been cold.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeAnother good evening out. Good service good meals
The Red Lion – CoventryBooked late and was surprised we could get a table as it was the last Saturday before Christmas. Greeted on arrival and taken to our table and drinks order taken, the drinks took a while to come considering there was not many people in. When she bought our drinks she took our food order which didn't take long - the food was good hot and tasty. My error as I should have asked what veg as not keen on cabbage both green and red, But apart form that all good - Deserts where lovely too... Would I come back - yes I would - and the festive decorations look great. Thanks a lot
The Red Lion – CoventryGreat service, great atmosphere, good value
The Red Lion – CoventryOur favourite pub/ restaurant normally but Friday 13th December was a disappointment. We brought guests and were delighted by the ambience. The fire was blazing, the tables were attractively dressed but the food was disappointing. We had a range of dishes but all seemed lacklustre. A smoked salmon and prawn starter seemed straight from the packet. Salt Marsh Lamb tasted ok but was poorly presented. The desserts were good as was the cheeseboard but either they were too busy or the chef had a bad day Such a shame as we had praised the Vine and left disappointed. We will return but on our own.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeGood food and great service with great atmosphere

Vine Inn – StourbridgeFor the first time I was very disappointed about the quality of your filet steak . I even asked whether I had been served the correct steak. The meat was very tough and appeared to be of low quality . Previously I recommended your restaurant and and enjoyed your meals
