Have never eaten here before. The food was delicious, well presented and the general atmosphere was really good and comfortable. Great portion size and service. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

My mum and I had a lovely meal at the Red Lion, being vegetarian there are only usually a couple of options but I was very impressed with the recipe and the meal was delicious. So definitely a 5 star review off us! I would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again! I must add the waitress was very friendly and efficient.

We were shown to our table promptly, the pub was warm and cosy, with log fires giving a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, generous portions and piping hot. The lunchtime menu is fantastic value, two courses for £16 or three courses for £20. The staff were attentive and are an asset to the pub.

What a lovely restaurant, great atmosphere and friendly staff The food was perfect and of a really high quality We will definitely be returning for more.

Another good meal with some new meals off the specials board sampled and as ever no complaints.

We enjoyed lunch on 7th November 2023. As ever it was excellent. The food was good and the Staff as friendly and efficient as ever.

Fabulous dog friendly welcome. The menu is varied and changing all of the time. So much better than boring chain restaurants. We'll be back again soon

The food was delicious and came promptly. Atmosphere good. Only thing letting it down was the slow and sometimes lack of service .

Excellent food and service from Simon and the team. Our friends were visiting from America and we were all impressed by the experience and will now come back again

We had a lovely evening & the food was of a high standard as always. There was a cosy fire & the waitress was very efficient & friendly (don't think we've seen her before) It was a quiet evening (wed) which we prefer ....it can sometimes get a bit noisy! We'll be back soon!

We were very impressed by our first visit. The waitress was extremely attentive and helpful, and our meal was lovely. We didn’t have to wait long to be served and were surprised by the generous portion size of our meals. All good. Thank you!!

Menu needs some updating, to pre-covid times . Please bring back chicken moz , curries spaghetti bolagnase, ect . And your homemade trifle and tiramisu were amazing, PLEASE..

We visited the Vine on Sunday & we were treated to their amazing fish platter sharing starter & superb roast beef. The quality of the food was excellent & so generous that we could not indulge in a pudding … but there was a great selection & looked divine. All very reasonably priced. Lovely cosy atmosphere & attentive service from welcoming staff. We are now looking forward to our next visit.

First visit Sunday we had roast beef followed by apple crumble /ice cream ,I had scillian lemon torte with ice cream ,faultless, it was amazing ,we will be regulars,from the minute we walked in we were made so welcome ,well done team ,even sent a note into the kitchen to sat thank you never done that before

Once again the service and food was excellent. We brought friends who have never been before, they loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service of the as usual excellent staff.

Recently came here for lunch but was disappointed with the service from the older male waiter. He seemed very rude and uninterested. Food was ok, bit too pricey in my opinion
