We had a lovely lunchtime meal. The Vine specialises in Game but even our table of 4 vegetarians found something delicious to eat. Wonderful atmosphere and good service too. I would recommend booking as it’s very busy at times, which is understandable.

Always considered that everything was to our liking or required anything more. Custard was not piping hot and quickly rectified with apologies. Me and my partner had a really great experience for our first time visiting; food, service and atmosphere were all brilliant and could not fault it, so much so that it promoted me to write this review. Valentines Day Menu had some great choices so didnt know what to pick but we had the French Onion soup and Scallops to start which were well sized and tasted great. For mains my partner had the Chicken breast which was perfectly cooked and came with a really nice sauce and really good Dauphinoise potatoes. I had the beef wellington which was perfectly cooked, mustard was a nice touch, and came with really good chip all with a perfect sauce to coat. All in all a brilliant evening and will be visiting again.
