Just great food every time

Brilliant food, great service and impressed with every aspect of our visit. Will definitely return.

We just wanted to go somewhere different for dinner. Not been to the Red Lion before. I did book online and it was an easy process. I missed out on starters as I fancied a dessert so went for the pork belly with mash, veggies and apple gravy. Portions were well bigger than expected and very filling as well as very tasty, top marks to the chef, my partner had the rump steak, chips, mushrooms and tomato, cooked perfectly and again good sized portion. Go for the sticky toffee pudding, OMG. There was an offer on of 2 for the price of 1 and for sure excellent value, they also had my favourite cider on tap so win win all evening. Nice staff, friendly. Will deffo be back there with friends.

You can always rely upon a great welcome here. The staff go out of their way to ensure that you have a fantastic experience, to match the excellent food. It's so nice these days to get a table with a crisp clean table cloth. I will return.

Lovely food and good choice would like to see soup on menu as a starter Staff were young girls but very professional and attentive and accommodating when we asked for a different table Was very impressed

First time eating at the Red Lion. The restaurant was very welcoming, warm due to lit fires and good wall art. The food itself was not so good. I had the mixed grill, the steak was tough and the plate was swimming with liquid. No staff came to see if things were OK in fact the service was shocking. My wife had the steak pie she said it was good.

Lovely lunchtime meal yesterday (15th March) service was great and food was wonderful and hot… twice I’ve been here in last couple of months and both times I can’t fault the pub

Having been going to Da Gino for many years. Without doubt the best value for money restaurant. Consistency is the word that best describes Da Gino's. Looking forward to returning.

What a gem of a place! Excellent and attentive service, delicious and varied food and warm and inviting to boot after a muddy walk up the Clent Hills! Mussels were to die for!! We will definitely be back and have already recommended. Please keep it up!

Amazing as always. Sunday dinner, our new go to after recommendation from friends. Delicious Brixham mussels followed by perfectly cooked rare roast beef and vegetable accompaniments, Honestly cannot praise Simon and his team enough, but don’t tell everyone for fear of me not being able to book. Perfect

Lovely pub nice atmosphere. Food all homemade and very tasty the belly pork and the lasagne were both very good. Only slight gripe a lot of staff standing around chatting by the coffe machine / wine store service was a bit on the slow side

Lovely meal and a nice bottle of red wine, looked after very well by hostess and staff nothing was to much trouble for them , food very tasty and well presented Grt stuff .
