I've eaten here loads and always bring friends and family. Why? Because it is the best place to eat pub grub in Coventry. I've seen or eaten every single thing on the menu, Inc carvery, and all has been gorgeous. I think it's unfair that someone has claimed to no liking moaning, but comes on to give a scathing review. Not fair. It is truly an amazing place.

The Old Crown – CoventryThe lunchtime deal is really good value. We had the triple beef lasagne and liver bacon and onions. Our return visit was later in the day and so we had steak! I cannot give enough praise to all the staff. They're so welcoming and friendly but efficient. The kitchen staff are obviously on their game too as the food always comes out hot and cooked well. This is definitely going to be our 'go to'

Always happy to help and really makes you feel welcome. One of very few places I feel at home in, it’s a warm and cosy atmosphere and the food is SO GOOD - proper home cooked!

Staff did all they could to accommodate all of us, especially for myself as a vegan. There were virtually no vegan options on the menu however the staff put a vegan pizza together for me and it was delicious. Staff brought out the cake for my mum with the candles lit and a cake topper sitting on the cake. It was a wonderful experience and most importantly, my mum was over the moon with it all. Truly a nice memory for her and all of us who went. Thank you

Vine Inn – StourbridgeI was really looking forward to a nice Saturday evening and good food. When the food came, the meat was very rubbery and the rice was over cooked. We didn’t have any cutlery or napkins until we asked. At the end when we paid, the staff asked us how we wanted to pay, I said cash, so they got the manager. My partner said she wanted to pay by card and we apologized and said can we pay by card instead. The manager said, I’d prefer cash. We asked if it was a problem, to which he threw the card machine down and went off in a huff. Will not be going back anytime soon! Probably a reason that the place was empty!
