Last minute booking so pleasantly surprised they could fit us in. I ordered Venison from the specials board and asked for it rare-medium. Sadly it was over cooked and quite tough. The fondant potato was a large peeled spud baked so was dry. Although the food was disappointing, the staff were very pleasant and efficient and zi couldn’t fault them

Both were really good and came with plenty of good vegetables and perfect gravy. We were met with excellent friendly and fast service. This is our third visit and we will definitely be back!!

The food was very nice indeed and it was great to see it being prepared in the kitchen before being served. The house red was lovely and the meals were very well sized indeed. Ordered 3 starters to share, but got brought two with no explanation that the other was coming. Starters were all excellent. Mains were good but very dry as not much sauce. Mine was had lots of cardamom which was not on the description and I'm not very fond of it.
