First visit since Covid. Very friendly staff and ok pub food. Only criticism was that the pub was very cold. Obviously trying to keep costs down but would make me think twice about returning.

Enjoyed a very pleasant meal at The Red Lion in very pleasant surroundings - it really is a character building. Found the menu offered a good selection at reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and even though busy at least they did us the courtesy to tell us they would be "with us in a minute". Have been to other pub/restaurants where they just leave you standing and don't even acknowledge your presence so a big thumbs up for that service. Easy to book a table on-line. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely meal at the vine the other day. The food is to a very high standard and is very fancy for a reasonable price. The food is presented well and tasted amazing. The pigeon breast and the haunch of venison were both lovely and me and my partner really enjoy it! It’s always a pleasure coming here made our date perfect. Staff are always welcoming and he atmosphere is always great.

My husband and I had a lovely meal in the Red Lion last night. As it was a special occasion, we treated ourselves to the beef medallions, they were lovely. The staff are really friendly, always smiling and helpful. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, we didn’t have to wait long for it either. There is a varied choice on the menu and there is a vegetarian section too. The atmosphere is relaxed. We are looking forward to our next visit.
