Went on 6th August to celebrate our anniversary. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The service was excellent. The waitress looked after us really well. Only one point I told her that the ice cream I had was full of ice crystals which meant it had been left out of the freezer to melt and then refrozen.

Came on Thursday the food was really good with on exception, I ordered fish and chips but I like my fish really crispy but it was like a flat batter like the ones you get in a pkt, so disappointed!! The rest was fine! Must say the waitress was really good looked after us . 10 out of 10!

Came for a catch up with friends didn't disappoint as always friendly service And great food.

Visited The Traders on Sunday 21st July. Our 3rd visit in the last few months. Once again the meal was excellent. No complaints at all. Four of us dined and all choose different from the many choices available. All first class. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is lovely too. We will be back again soon. Thank you

Lovely meal for Sunday lunch. The BBQ ribs were delicious and chicken roast was too. The beef brisket was slightly tough this time but we mentioned this and were pleased to be offered a small discount for those meals. Overall very enjoyable, a lovely setting and will be visiting again soon.

Excellent food and service

Visited for Sunday lunch again yesterday. The food is great - a decent roast. The puddings are traditional in generous portions. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat in the area.

A lovely Sunday lunch for a birthday. There was a good plateful and liked the 3 different options of meat, as sometimes there is usually only beef on offer at many places. There was a large selection of beers and other drinks. Service was good and though we had to wait little while to get our main, it wasn't a significant time, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be visiting again to try other things on the menu.

Excellent Sunday Roast with the best ever, cripsest roast potatoes I've ever had! Cauliflower cheese was to die for and the rest of the meal was top notch. Service great and friendly ☺️ we will be back 5*****

The service was fast and staff were lovely. They food was fab but the portions were smaller than last time. We all had fish & chips the fish were smaller and only a handful of chips. Overall lovely

Arrived for our 12 noon booking, 1st ones to order before anyone else even came in. A table that came in after us got there food before us, waited 35 mins for our food and when arrived Husbands order was incomplete as received a Chicken and Black pudding melt minus the cheese melt?. First time here extremely disappointed,

Lovely place clean and beautiful surroundings the food is amazing would highly recommend the roast beef Sunday lunch staff extremely pleasant always very welcoming our go to for a family meal out very reasonably priced also

Lovely pub, staff friendly and helpful, service excellent. Food as always very good and good value. Only 1 slight negative is that the toasted ciabatta tasted a little odd, probably the herbs used were not to our taste. Only negative we have experienced in many visits and will not stop us going again.

As always a lovely meal in loveky surroundings. The meat is provided by a local butcher and is always delicous
