Went to Waheeds with a couple of friends was a lovely atmosphere and service was excellent, loved the butter chicken! Wide variety of dishes must have been at least 30. the chocolate fudge cake was very good I had 3 slices of that served with cream cherry flavour ice cream, which I haven't tasted before.

Salaam, my initial response at our visit was impressive as you'd only been open for 2/3 months. The buffet was very good but could be better. Starter dishes were too spicy for the kids so was disappointed as they only eat a starter and dessert. Somewhat disappointed and surprised there was no zarda in the dessert and expected noodles to be on buffet. You could organise your space a little better by allocating a more convenient and suitable table for ladies who wear niqab. We encountered an accident due to limited space as other customers next to us were using a screen. Luckily my daughter wasn't hurt badly and there were no spillages. Please take this as constructive advise and not a criticism. Waalaam

I love Mexican food but I recently went to this restaurant with my family and we were a bit disappointed. Although the kids meals are decent value the adult meals are over priced. I ordered chicken encheladas which was average at best. The portion was small and nothing on the side ie no rice etc. Very poor value and not enough to fill me up and I'm 5 foot nothing. My husbands burger meal was ok but not worth the money. Then we were over charged for something. My husband noticed this though and they sorted it at the till.

Had lunch at your restaurant today and I have to say I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the dining area; the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks The food was just ordinary. Compared with a Harvester restaurant I had lunch in earlier in the week, the food was not good value. I'm not surprised it was almost empty. The Harvester was full! With your position; in a lovely country village, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, equal distance between the City of Preston and Blackburn, at the height of the holidays, you should be full!

We have dined out almost every weekend for the last 20 years, so I would say I am knowledgable on what makes a good restaurant. The Spread Eagle was exceptional for service.

Been visiting Grey Mare for many years, sadly the food has steadily gone down hill. Much smaller potions, long waits for food, on occation the food had to be sent back inedable scampy cold. Too much salt in some meals waiting an hour for our meals. The owners are very polite and apologetic but its just not as good as it used to.

Your food is awful very cold.

This is THE best chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Not the cheapest but the suthentic ingredients make all the difference!! Trip advisor mainly agrees! Not sure what we will do if mr and mrs cheung decide to retire, been eating there for over 20 years!

Went in June for a birthday . Food was absolutely devine but with small fine dining portions, not for everyone as I could have ate everything again. Didn't like the fact were we made to feel a little out of place that we didn't want to drink wine at 1-30 in the afternoon. Maybe in the evening but just fancied a Peroni . Would go back but maybe in the evening.

Having visited the Windmill Preston New Road Mellor Brook Bnear Blackburn for my Son's Birthday today 5th June 2014. I have never visited a worse place to eat. The Place was Empty so not rushed off their feet. I ordered Scampi the rest of family had other things, but it took ages to get our order.I complained about Scampi it was not Scampi but reconstituted & shaped & was not fit to eat. The Chef came out of kitchen with bag of frozen reconstituted something & shouted what does it say on bag to which I replied it say's scampy bites! He said I don't f/ing care whether you pay or not . I said to Lady behind the Bar, I'm not paying for that meal. She said I'll ring my boss & he told her to take that meal off the bill. Considering the bill was still £44-25 for4 soft drinks 4 starters & 3 other main meals that were not good either I know we will not be going there again or recommend The Windmill to anyone.

BALTI HOUSE RISHTON IS THE BEST.

First visit won't be the last. Refurbishment superb as was food and staff excellent.

Nice meal for four with some impressive dishes. Particularly enjoyed my prawn cocktail starter with its sides of tempura prawn and prawn and sesame toasts. Rib eye steak was definitely medium as requested. Good wine, pleasant atmosphere, nice staff.

After visiting for a recent special occasion we learned the establishment has recently changed hands, and unfortunately they've ruined it. After waiting for over an hour for drinks and food to arrive we discovered they'd lost the order, then proceeded to bring out incorrect orders, cold meals and apparent left-overs put together to form something else. The service wasn't much better than the food they offered with untrained, incompetent staff which was managed by a rude 'supposed' head chef that is nothing more than an embarrassment to his job title. Avoid at all costs.

The Willows is a lovely place to look at and the inside is cosy however waited far too long for a meal which when arrived it was luke warm. The only postive review of the food was the dessert which I took home.

I VISITED THIS PUB IN JANUARY 2014. I was served with raw undercooked food. The table was dirty . I complained and nothing was done . In fact the staff were very rude and arrogant. I suffered with food poisoning and I will be reporting the pub to the food and safety dept at the council. It as more upsetting that the staff had an arrogant couldn't care less attitude..

Superb place! Met up for New Year get-together meal with my brother and his family - 8 of us altogether. We each had something different off the extensive menu, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our choice. Service is friendly, attentive, but unobtrusive. Highly recommended!
