A fantastic meal worth every penny served and prepared by fantastic professional staff, a great location with awesome views to relax and enjoy your meal in the tranquil setting of Belthorn. Definitely would recommend to others and will be visiting again soon.

Been to the Belthorn for a meal this week. Mark and Jamie are two amazing chefs who are both very passionate about their work and serving only the best!! Their food is absolutely amazing and only the best meat, fish veg and everything is sourced. Highly recommended. The Belthorn is a lovely old pub with a new twist on the restaurant. You get the old world style in the pub and top service and food in the restaurant with the fantastic views from the top view over Lancashire. Very friendly atmosphere.

One hell of a transformation from the Boddington Arms. Looks amazing and eye catching with it’s immaculate cream exterior. Huge open space dining area and bar. A real contemporary pub with rooms from JWLees

Had a lovely lunch here. Halloumi panini with side salad. i'll have a cheeky drink next time too!

Really enjoyed lunch at Gioia midweek. I chose a pizza which was really light and not at all oily like some pizzas can be. The service was welcoming and friendly, prices very reasonable. Will be returning soon.

Went today wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was reminded me of what fish chips and peas tasted like 20 years ago.. The fish is very big we had the special and just about finished it with peas and curry sauce thanks mother Hubbard

Really loved Obsession this year at Northcote. A must event if you are seriously interested in Gourmet fine dining!

Not impressed! We ordered but were then told they didn't have any of the veggie option left. The portions were small (the medium fish was a very small meal) and the food pricey. We had a long wait for food, were just about to leave when it arrived. A £3 side of veg consisted of a tiny dish of frozen peas and some chewy kale (although they did take this off the bill as agreed it was rubbish). And the room was unbearably hot to boot. Beer sampled was poorly kept. Needless to say we would not recommend!

Excellent food - amazing level of service. If you haven't eaten here your missing out on a good curry! Chips are addictive and curries superb. Best takeaway in Blackburn joe and family x

Went a few days after opening, the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Asked for Fish, Chips and Peas. 'Can I put the peas in a carton, as it will leak from a thin cardboard container' Why not put the whole lot in a polystyrene tray, as they were clearly visible. The fish was awful, very strong tasting and soggy. It was haddock, we prefer Cod. Surely, they should have an alternative than just Haddock. The chips were ok, as were the peas. But nothing special. Was looking forward, to restaurant quality Fish and Chips without having to go out of the area. Sadly not, 2 stars at the most.

Last reviews cannot believe. Fish fab chunky white haddock great batter nice chips best have had in along time. Will be going again.

Went for fish and Chips yesterday Lovely Crispy Fish batter was done to perfection and the fish dropped off in your mouth, chips bang on! Would recommend for a good chippy tea.

Visit this chippy regularly fantastic service and best curry I've found in Blackburn. Can't recommend it enough, value for money and super tasty food x

I recommend this plaice to everybody ,it has unique taste in all the foods that are participated with love in the cook .specially the Currys are specially made with delicious taste and variety in service and cook. the starters are perfect cook also the Naan is different to others with a taste of extras its the best in Blackburn..Mashallah . wish them the best in future .
