The Willows is a lovely place to look at and the inside is cosy however waited far too long for a meal which when arrived it was luke warm. The only postive review of the food was the dessert which I took home.

The Willows – BlackburnI VISITED THIS PUB IN JANUARY 2014. I was served with raw undercooked food. The table was dirty . I complained and nothing was done . In fact the staff were very rude and arrogant. I suffered with food poisoning and I will be reporting the pub to the food and safety dept at the council. It as more upsetting that the staff had an arrogant couldn't care less attitude..
Clog and Billycock – BlackburnSuperb place! Met up for New Year get-together meal with my brother and his family - 8 of us altogether. We each had something different off the extensive menu, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our choice. Service is friendly, attentive, but unobtrusive. Highly recommended!
Millstone At Mellor – BlackburnIt was excellent food and thanks to the cooks who made it.
Maida – BlackburnSolid business which is about doing basic food well. High quality, friendly service, excellent cleanliness, good value and they really care about doing a good job. What more do you want from a chippy?
Ocean Chippy – Blackburn£14-50 for two fishcakes! I don't think so! No taste and apparently a seabass fillet inside-which decent chef would annihilate a lovely piece of fish in this way?
Myerscough Hotel – BlackburnMy partner and I have eaten here many times. The staff are always friendly and the place feels very relaxed. On the menu is a great range of choices to eat, not forgetting the specials menu. Tonight we are going to the Tapas night, which is very popular.
O’Marley – BlackburnCalled in a couple of weeks ago on a sunday was relaxed warm and very friendly what a pleasent change going to try tapas night now well done
O’Marley – BlackburnGreat cheese and onion pie. Perfect pastry with a rich and delicious inside. Nicely matched with a crisp salad. Good service in very pleasant surroundings too. The wifi allowed a good business meeting and lunch combo!
Clog and Billycock – BlackburnJust had a very nice meal me and my mother for mothers day , the service and decor was spot on and when the biil came how cheap it was . will defo return again very soon , thank you to everyone at tiggis
Tiggis on the A59 – BlackburnBeer great, staff lovely, food gone down hill drastically. Shame used to be great prior to the extension.
Grey Mare Inn – BlackburnLovely night but I was really ill!! Mussels? My friends ate here a month after, really ill. Not one but two! What's going on???? Seriously.
Tiggis on the A59 – BlackburnVery good food , service , polite staff and clean ... often lunch there.
The Fernhurst – BlackburnThe best curries in the world!!!!!!! keep it up.....
Balti House – BlackburnLovely place but there is where the compliments finish for me. The waiters are very aloof and the last time I was there we had 3 differant meals, however, on trying each one they all tasted the same. An old saying, all fur coat and no substance (changed for politness)
Shajan – BlackburnGood honest home cooked food, need I say more?? We're heading there for lunch today
Observatory Pub & Restaurant – BlackburnFood was ok. Service from the staff was very good, however the service from the management was appalling!! the manager couldn't be bothered to come over to speak to us when we were enquiring about Christmas Day lunch. He chose to keep sending his staff member backward and forward from us to him to answer our questions when it was obvious she couldn't help us. we left abruptly after commenting on how hopeless the to-ing and fro-ing was between them. When we left he couldn't even be bothered to say goodbye!! (the bar and restaurant were empty at this time) we will dine elsewhere in the future, even though we are very local to the Butlers. In the current climate i can't believe a business would choose to treat people in this rude and appalling way. Such a shame as it could be an amazing place with the right management running it..
Butlers Arms – BlackburnWe have been coming here probably since it opened. We get take out about twice a week and eat in every So often. Food is excellent and all the staff are so friendly. Everyone should try New Year's Eve and believe it or Not Christmas Day. Takes all the stress out of cooking. Keep up the good work. Well done. Mr W.
