Booked a family lunch here after a round of golf and everyone enjoyed it. Table was nicely presented and staff amenable and helpful. Drinks took a little while to be served but the food was quickly prepared and delicious when it arrived. A lovely inviting venue

Absolutely out of this world. The service, the staff, the food, the cleanliness, everything blew me away. I will dream about the contadina pasta and their spicy garlic bread! 5 of us went, everyone was happy, no complaints. It was quite possibly the nicest Italian I have ever eaten.

Had another great meal here, 3 of us enjoyed very much. The atmosphere was good and the staff are just so lovely. Cant fault the food at all. Thank you again. See you next week :-)

One of the best homely feelings I have ever had in all the years of eating out ,great food great host what more do you need , the lamb was best I have tasted in years .not rushed no urgency like other eating places , This will be regular place to eat and enjoy .

Venue is modern, clean and beautiful grounds. Food was variety menu, good price and fresh. Service was super.

The staff were more than friendly. Loved the place. Was my first time there and really enjoyed the place. I used to be a chef and the food was spot on. Love trying new dishes and the wife has never even had calamari and she loved it. Food was crispy where needed, rich where needed and had enough to fill me up .

Nice meal .Great hostess..reassess the price of the small cup of coleslaw.£3.10 Come on ........

My husband and myself came to staining lodge for breakfast last weekend. It was very pleasant, the food was delicious and the service was very prompt . Staff are very attentive and very polite. I would recommend this place for food , drinks and atmosphere. Thank you

absolutely fantastic value for money, and the food was beautiful, definetly will go back.

First impression was, Building under construction. Food, Pizza good. Chicken v. Good, fillet steak very grisly , sent back and was told definitely a fillet, but when questioned he went to chef and chef agreed it shouldn’t be grisly. Given another steak which was somewhat better, certainly not worth £25. Service…. Poor, ordered 3 sweets that didn’t arrive after 20 minutes , so asked for the bill. When paying we described eating the steak when the rest of the party had finished which spoiled the evening. This was my partners 70th birthday treat. We were told when paying Nothing could be done as they did us a favour not charging for the first steak. We will not be back or recommend.

Visited last night with my wife and friend from Scotland. The night was fabulous and the food top class. Also the staff where knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Can’t wait till we visit again. Brian

Beautiful setting, friendly staff great food and coffee. Had the full English breakfast only criticism there was too many beans and not enough sausage and the poached egg was slightly over cooked. Each item had its own flavour and the bacon fat metled on the tongue no black pudding or hash brown I wouldn't quiet call it a full English. A larger option would be great So very nearly 5 stars guys
