My children aged 5 and 9 love going to the Cottage Chippy...whenever we ask where they would like to go for tea or lunch the Cottage is always first choice !! My 9 year old son always polishes of the largest fish on the menu !!

Easy East – BlackpoolTen of us booked a meal at San Marcos over a month ago. We arrived half an hour before the due time and were told that our table would be ready shortly, We had a drink in the waiting area but when our booking time arrived, the table was still not ready. We complained and were told that the previous occupants had not finished and were taking more than the two hours allocated for eating. Eventually we were shown to our table 55 minutes after our booking time. Our order had been taken while we waited so food appeared almost immediately. It was very good and were it not for the delayed service I would be be recommending this restaurant. We asked the people who had vacated our table what time they had sat down and they admitted it was only an hour and a quarter before our booking time. Hence the manager's excuse was not valid. There was also another large group who had a booking time before ours who sat down at the same time as ours,
San Marcos – Blackpoolwe have been eating here for the last 6 years everytime we come to Blackpool about 3 times a year and we have never had a bad steak. the service is always excellent and very friendly.would recommend to any and everyone. good value for money xxx
The Eating Inn – BlackpoolOn Monday 20th February we went to Vesuvio for a family meal to celebrate our mothers 70th birthday. We were a party of eleven, and the only people in the restaurant all night. We had a cake made for her which we took along. When the time came for the cake to be presented, the waiter just put it on the table with no candles, no music or anything. We said to the waiter are there no candles, and he brought one out, but the moment had gone. Most restaurants nowadays play birthday music, but nothing it was as if they couldn't be bothered. There was some of the party had meatballs and they said they were bland. This was a special occasion which was ruined.
Vesuvio – BlackpoolMy family and I have dined at Treasure City for 10 years, and in all that time I have only nice things to say. Its lovely for the family, and also for couples. Banquets are excellent. The staff make you feel very welcomed and always have a smile. I would recommend this restaurant to all those who love a nice meal with a pleasant atmosphere.

If you are wanting quick impersonal service this isn't the place for you but if you want great food , a fabulous atmosphere and individual service then you can't go wrong. Marlene is great, but be sure to butter her up (well worth it) and be sure to make friends with David (the wine waiter) to ensure prompt service when you order drinks. Be prepared to wait between courses but make the most of the individual personalities of the staff because the entertainment value is second to none. We will be back (sorry Marlene). :-)
Constantine’s – BlackpoolThis used to be one of my favourite restaurants on the Fylde Coast, so I was delighted to see it reopening for special occasions, however, when I called to book my family in for Mother's Day, I was stunned to find that they wanted full payment upfront!? I asked why, the person I spoke to told me that this was their policy now. This means also deciding now (some six weeks before Mother's Day) whether my family wanted 2 or 3 courses? Needless to say, I'm looking to book elsewhere. Is this normal now, for restaurants to ask for payment in advance?
