Leeraj Indian Cuisine – BlackpoolRude staff, and the apparent 'home cooking' tastes as though it has been sat there all day! One to avoid in future, there's plenty more, cheaper, better quality and an awful lot cleaner!
Dinners Ready – BlackpoolYet another great meal at Sapori! Sunday evening and they were turning people away as they were fully booked! must be heartbreaking for them but it shows how good it is here. The steaks are easily the best we have ever had and my favourites are the Ribs & Duck Confit which are both on the early bird so just £9.95!! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. TRY IT.
Sapori – BlackpoolA definite must for a pre theatre experience; maybe a limited menu but great food was served and the staff did their very best to ensure you enjoyed your time in the restaurant. We will be back again .
Empress Grill Room – Blackpoolok but nothing special, this town needs something different than the same sandwich shops opening all over town. wont go back unless my usual places are shut.
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolFOOD WAS GOOD SERVICE VERY POOR WAITER GOT OUR ORDER MIXED UP HE THEN TOOK ORDER OFF PARTY ON NEXT TABLE 5 MINUTES LATER HE ASKED FOR THEIR ORDER AGAIN GOT VERY BUSY PEOPLE WERE WAITING FOR TABLE SO THEY ASKED A COUPLE TO MOVE WHO WERE FINISHING THEIR DRINKS RESTAURANT WAS DIRTY BIT LIKE A CANTEEN WITH NO DRESSED TABLES WOULD NEVER GO BACK
Shalimar Gardens – BlackpoolI had the most appalling house special fried rice here, it was a real grease fest and although a regular visitor to Blackpool quickly learnt the lesson that, The nearer to the sea front the poorer the quality, my advice is either travel further afield or frankly change you choice of ethnic food as this was inedible.
Golden Palace – BlackpoolHave been several times over the last few months and have sat outside, upstairs and a couple of different places downstairs. I really like the style of the restaurant, its relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always welcoming and i always enjoy the food. Recently had Tuna Steak and i personally prefer mine a little pink, as you can easily over cook it and make it dry. But it was lovely, so tender and tasty. But i will be honest and i do think certain items on the menu are slightly over priced, but that wouldn't put me off. There was a small issue when i last visited on 14.10.11, with flys, when i was sat down stairs near the windows. I discussed with the manager and hopefully that's been resolved.

Quilligans Cafe Bar – BlackpoolNot been for about 12 months, why i asked myself afterwards. Popped in for lunch and ordered off the lunch time menu and really enjoyed both my starter and main and my hubbys and just love their garlic bread. The food was very tasty and the wine went down well to.
San Marcos – BlackpoolI have eaten several times at Luna Rossa, and all I can say is the food is fantastic and served with the right break between each course. It is true Italian cuisine and freshly made, not frozen like so many other Italian restaurants use in their cuisine. The staff are very friendly and very professional. The restaurant has the right ambience and a lovely decor which is cosmopolitan and very relaxing. I will certainly recommend Luna Rossa to everybody. Guaranteed a fab night with awesome food. Enjoy!!

Palms Restaurant at the Blackpool Hotel – BlackpoolStopped in here for a quick snack lunch while shopping with my partner. We opted for the Combo platter, which came with chicken goujons, lightly battered prawns, potato wedges and breaded mushrooms plus several dips. The food was all pre-frozen fayre but cheap and cheerful was what we required and the lovely if slightly ditzy waitress was attentive and friendly. My only complaint would be the very wilted salad but as the heat of the day was stifling, I would let this go. Nice outdoor seating and a general buzz made it a satisfying if simple lunch.... great for a mid-shop break

La Fontana – BlackpoolThe Ghurka was recommended to me on a trip to Blackpool. It was a fantastic value for money experience. There was a wide choice of foods all of a excellent quality (not stewing away as they are in some buffet restaurants) and the service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. I sampled quite a few of the dishes on offer but was full well before I ran out of choice. A word of warning though. The Ghurka lamb curry, which was labelled as 'very hot', really is very hot. Not to be sampled by Korma lovers like me
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – Blackpoolvisited in September. Very welcoming to families (we have a large double pram) high chair provided. baby change facilities too ! Lovely traditional Italian food. Best carbonara since visit to Rome. Excellent value.
