Visited Ellenders for a birthday lunch. Very happy with meal as usual, I have never been disappointed. Had the pie of the day, Chicken and Gammon, it was epic. My sister had same and enjoyed it as much as me. Dad, whose 94 years young had a small portion of Fish and Chips, he enjoys it immensely more because it is right size for him, he hates waste.

Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. I ate here on two nights. Both nights the meals were well presented, tasty and filling. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Although the location is out of town (the restaurant is within the Boston United stadium) it's well worth a visit. There's plenty of parking and it's just a few minutes out of Boston.

Have been to a few quiz nights which are great fun and the food is great . The staff are lovely .

Came to monthly quiz night. Ham Egg and chips with the quiz for a tenner and the ham was thick and scrumptious.

The service is good but a bit slow but that must be down to the kitchen , I would worry if you were busy how long it would take , staff are polite and helpful and food is always excellent , older guests struggled with the large portions , I did not and the haddock and chips was like a fish supper in Scotland . Some music on the screens would improve the atmosphere , sports can always be requested ! Cleanliness is spot on and the free birthday meals is a winner , good food at your prices is good value .

I’m disappointed to write this review considering last year I wrote one the complete opposite. We ate at Tuesday lunchtime but despite it being a quieter time the food took nearly an hour to come out. My wife had a cheese and ham toastie which, the toast was burnt, not just a little bit it was black and crunchy but even though it was cremated it was cold, there was so little cheese in it you could barely see it and what was there was just a crunchy mess. The ham was nice though. I had the Ellenders breakfast which was nice. The staff were nice about it though.

We had a lovely meal at Ellenders recently and found it to be great value for money along with prompt excellent service. Good location for a family meet up as well .

We visited with some friends who hadn’t visited Ellenders before but we will all recommend to others! No problems everything tip top.

We always enjoy eating at Ellenders. Especially as we live so close and can walk there and stagger back! We love the Made in Mendoza Malbec. Some interesting new things on the menu. Kevan enjoyed the gammon very much. He said it was tasty and meaty. I had the chicken breast which was delicious. Tender chicken and yummy creamy sauce and the potatoes gratin was lovely. We also enjoyed the desserts of summer berries and pineapple tarte tatin . Compliments to the chef. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Lovely evening.

Another lovely evening in Ellenders with family, superb service from booking, food, atmosphere. Everything was perfect. Some great additions to the new menu, which I would highly recommend.
