We went to celebrate my brothers 80th birthday last night. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start. The food was 1st class, all cooked fresh. The service was spot on. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Booked a father's day deal for yesterday . The main meals were really good, except my son who had a burger felt that there wasn't enough chips, and my hubbie had hunters chicken which needed more sauce on but we all enjoyed what we had and thd presentation and service was brilliant. We then all had dessert, my son had a sticky toffee sundae, some of the date sponge was overcooked and tasted slightly burnt, it came in a ordinary dish and would have looked better in a proper sundae glass, I had the rhubard and custard sundae which came in a shallow glass but again would have been better in a taller sundae glass as the custard kept spilling over the top, the rhubarb was not cooked enough and was bitter in taste, the crunch topping was very hard and chewy, don't usually have desserts when we eat here and doubt we will again. We love ELLENDERS, the staff, service and atmosphere is great and we will be back despite the few issues we had.

Friendly, helpful staff, delicious freshly cooked food (the spring chicken pie was absolutely amazing!), relaxed quiet vibe. Easy parking. Manager very accommodating and professional. Would highly recommend - we had a lovely lunch. Couldn't fault it.

Went to the French night. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite. The only negativeswere that we had a long wait for the first two courses and despite our booking being at 6.30 they had sold out of one of the starters.

Meal on Saturday was lovely. Hubby tried the Thai Chicken curry pie (so good could have had a little more), whilst I had chicken with mushroom and spinach sauce. Service excellent.

We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday at Ellenders with a table for 12 people . Food was great, all meals served promptly and the staff were great and made the night special . Will definitely be visiting again for a meal .

Booked in mid week for a birthday get together. They called us a few days before to let us know there’s been a last minute footie match arranged for that evening. They just asked if we were still happy to visit and said they’ll help with parking if it was a busy match. Service was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Good came in great time considering they were busy, was hot and delicious as any other time we’ve visited too.

Great food and good service. Been here many times and always good, lots of local quality ingredience used and cooked with consistant skill. Valentines meal was superb 3 courses of which none disapointed and great value too.
