Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHad a meal in Saturday, we have eaten in the restaurant many times and have always found the food and service brilliant, a little gem of a restaurant. The new tasting menu however I’m not so sure of, the tasting menu was average at best, we had oysters and dressed crab for starters off their specials board and both were superb but after that not so good. Perhaps moving forward if going down the tapas type route it may be nice to also have a proper menu back as well to choose from. Jacqui and the team great and welcoming as always, atmosphere great. Hate to be negative as Into the Blue has always been one of my favourite restaurants.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaIt had been a long while since I had visited and I am so glad I ignored reviews as we had the perfect evening. The staff were brilliant and sorted a larger table for us as we had become 5 and I reserved for 4. The food was exceptional with so much choice. I would highly recommend the Lobster Thermidor which was the best I have ever eaten. The choices of side dishes was exciting and we enjoyed the Spiced potatoes which I would love the recipe for. Thank you for a great evening with exceptional food and service.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had not been to Into the Blue for years but wanted a change and the half hour drive was deemed worthwhile as we had a lovely meal taking the fixed price menu and we very well looked after! All the starters were excellent, especially the red mullet tempura which we added, and by the time we reached the main course we were full. I might have preferred to have a fish option instead of the chicken skewers or ribs but overall we are very happy to have returned! Keep up the great work everyone!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHad been recommended this place by many people. Was absolutely brilliant. Lovely interior, lovely staff and food was divine. Nice atmosphere too. Will definitely be coming again.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely menu selection. Great, attentive and "just right" service, The food was delicious. First visit. Will return. The staff here do what they do really well and take pride in their work.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a truly wonderful evening. Food was excellent, Service was very friendly and atmosphere very special.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a hidden gem, quite an unexpected find. Would imagine the atmosphere could be quite different on a wet winter's day but in the summer it is delightful. The food is imaginative, the staff are really helpful and the overall ambience is excellent. Will definitely be returning
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe enjoyed a perfect, casual lunch as we toasted my mother's life. Shoreham was the place she loved, where she lived and where my sister and I grew up. My brother-in-law had his favourite fish and chips, while my sister tucked in to an enormous helping of mussels ( having previously told everyone that she wasn't really hungry). My husband enjoyed his filet. I had the tempura prawns and ordered a salad and chips to share. Empty plates, full tummies. Delicious.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAn excellent visit in August. Food choices brilliant and food is cooked to perfection. Had the main course mussels. Probably the best I’ve had for many years. My wife loves the noodles. Staff all polite and attentive.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAmazing! We had the sharing menu. Everything was delicious, and good value. Thank you. We will be back.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaA very enjoyable first visit.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaVery disappointed in the new menu. This was our fifth visit but sadly will be the last. We ordered off the mains menu and expected a main dinner! But no, it was more like tapas, exceptionally small plate and very expensive as we had to order sides to bulk it out. I ordered fish cakes and for the price I expected a main meal. I received three minuscule fish cakes and had to then order chips and salad. My fellow diners all ordered fish dishes and they were more of a starter size. The waitress didn’t explain the situation either and we were all very disappointed.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI had my first oysters in my life in this restaurant and they're were amazing. We ordered them off the specials' menu and the sauce it came with was incredibly flavourful. My partner said if I wanted to try oysters this is the place for it and ha was right. For main I ordered monkfish medallions with lobster sauce again off the specials' menu. Best lobster sauce I've ever tried. Not too heavy, not too thick just simply perfect and the monkfish was the same quality. Perfectly cooked not over or under cooked. My partner had a steak which was flavoursome cooked just like he asked and kept it's warm temperature through the meal which is not common. We had puddig also, delicious nicly presented desserts they were both. Huge reccomendation for this place!!!!!! And Thanks for the chefs and the girls who were serving us during the night for making our first year anniversary with my partner so good with the meals and their service.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaOur favourite restaurant in Sussex!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a gem of a place we have in Shoreham! Another fabulous evening at Into the Blue last weekend; fantastic food and a friendly, relaxed bistro feel as always. Really enjoyed sampling some of Dave's dishes from the taster menu. Can't wait for the next visit!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe love this restaurant and have been going for many years.I had the most amazing fillet steak perfectly cooked no nasty bits in it and sheer perfection. The sweet with the White Chocolate pannacotta and raspberry sorbet was heavenly. The staff are always friendly and delightful.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI am a returning diner, and just had an extremely pleasant lunch (July 2022). The staff are always very friendly and they helped us navigate the new (to us) menu format. It's very good, with a wide food selection, and we chose well. The meal, as ever, was wonderful. On top of that, ITB has a pleasant, unhurried, atmosphere. It's why we come back..!
