DoveCote, is a great place to eat a fantastic meal in peace, not a place for childern unless very well behaved. Plenty of non-smoking areas. I highly recommend this restaurant and go out of my way to ensure I eat there.

Dovecote The – Long AshtonGood authentic food and friendly but unobtrusive service. Very nice setting.Managed to fit us in even though we had not booked on a busy night, but would advise booking.
Thai Balcony – BathNever ventured out of Bristol for a Curry, glad I did tonight though. Two friends who hail from WSM recommended this place. Excellent food, good service. well presented menu. One of the best Indian meals I have tasted
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareMichaels Caines has made this restaurant famous & the Michelin award well earned. A special treat to dine here, every dish is exquisite. The dining room is quite beautiful. Looking forward to my next visit.
Walter’s Bar and Grill – Bristol City CentreA wonderful Italian Restaurant in a surprising location. The immediatly surrounding area is rather unattractive but inside the restaurant is full of atmosphere. Rustic rather than trendy Italian cooking and all the better for it. Some unusal dishes, the Roman lamb is fabulous. The puddings are brought to you on a strange trolley, they are simply some of the best desserts you will ever find. This is a family run restaurant & they are charming, service is perfect. This restaurant is amazingly popular as it deserves to be, book well in advance for a weekend.
Restaurant Valentino – Westbury-on-TrymRare day off from work, decided to treat myself to a nice relaxed lunch for one!! I have dined at the River Station once before where I enjoyed the best piece of steak I have ever eaten. Today I took advantage of the two course set lunch for £12 plus a desert from the main menu. Lamb sweetbreads on bruchetta for starter with Loin of Pork with Bubble and Squeak for main course. Summer Pub with vanilla ice cream for desert plus two non-alcoholic drinks and a bottle of mineral water came to £19.80. Excellent value and really good attentive but not intrusive service.
Riverstation – Bristol City CentreI thought ocean cafe was a very enjoyable experience. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant. I will definitely go back there.
Ocean Cafe – CliftonWarm and cosy restaurant, friendly service, great food. Although the menu is not extensive, it is still difficult to choose; everything is so tempting! The owner has an obvious passion for what he does.
Mon Plaisir – ClevedonWide variety of dishes which are changed regularly. Fresh dishes cooked to order. Inclusive of limited desserts.
Oriental Buffet – KingswoodGood student haunt - good deals on food (2 for 1 pizzas monday). The food isn't fantastic - stick to the pizzas or penne and meatballs! - and there have been times when they weren't able to provide food (cocktails sometimes a bit dodgy too!), but staff normally very friendly and quite good fun. Convenient location for Whiteladies. Tends to get very busy though so you have to get there early.
Bar Room Bar – Bristol City CentreLovely Jubley
Thai Classic – CliftonWow! I have never been to an Indian restaurant quite like this! The food, atmosphere, service and surroundings are amazing. I don't know the secret recipe that they have in the dishes but it certainly works for me! Their portions are also generous! Definitely a place you have to go to if you want to taste real food! 5 Star!
Bristol Raj Bari – CliftonA very classy no imitation curry house that is very serious about their food. The main chef is crazy about the quality of his food. The best food in Weston is at Bengal Raj and nowhere else. I myself travel about 5miles to get takeaways
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareVery Good, not as good a decorations as the other Indians but a better atmosphere and service and food than any other restaurant by far.
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareThe best INDIAN Restaurant in Weston-Super-Mare (I think). If you want Indian this is the restaurant you should be at. Doesn? look like a lot from the outside but you?l be surprised at the service and fab food you find inside.
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareLast night was my second visit to loch fyne, I can? wait until my next one. Albeit a Monday and the restaurant was quiet, the service was excellent, prompt and courteous. The specials board was wonderfully varied. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. The oysters sublime, the haddock delicate and Moorish and the sorbet perfectly freshened the palate at the end of the meal. The bar underneath a bit trendy but that? not a bad thing in this case. Recommended for any occasion.
Loch Fyne Restaurant – Bristol City CentreHaving visited Thailand, this was the nearest we have found to a 'local' experience. The surroundings are lovely, being in a semi-circular room adds to a cosy and friendly ambience. The service is as friendly as you would expect in Thailand (the land of smiles) and very helpful for those who are not so sure what they would like to eat. We would highly recommend a visit here (and they sell sticky rice!!!!), However, expect to book because it is very popular. Enjoy your experience!
Thai Balcony – BathWent for a Saturday Lunch as our original choice was fully booked up. Excellent Service, and Food would definitely go there again
Bowlish House – Shepton MalletScrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
