Amazing. Some of the best tasting food I've eaten and a great location.

A lovely space in the centre of Wells, excellent food and delightful staff. We had a pre-dinner drink in the outside courtyard then ate a delicious meal in the main restaurant which was full but didn’t feel at all crowded. We will undoubtedly return when we are next in this part of Somerset.

The first time I visited the Kiln - loved it! Very well organised, very calm setting and very lovely surprise that coffee was available and so good. My granddaughter and I had a great time together and built a few more special memories along the way.

Very tasty and interesting food in terms of colour, consistency, and flavour, freshly prepared and in generous quantities. The restaurant is simply, but tastefully, decorated and the staff are all very pleasant. Service can be a little slow at busy times, but don’t come for fast food.

Couldn’t fault the food , just didn’t feel very well looked after by waitress / waiters .

Fabulous. What a gem of a place. Staff friendly and efficient. Decor cheerful and bright in a lovely setting . Very tempting selection of cakes and sweet treats. Lunch of salad with crispy cauliflower and topped with crispy noodles was beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Really interesting selection on the menu. Was hard to choose. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place. Really beautiful rustic setting with a lovely vibe. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is just gorgeous as are the homemade cakes. Always a pleasure to visit.

We had a very enjoyable evening at the Olive Tree . The atmosphere & ambiance were great & the service & attention to detail were excellent The menu was slightly limiting for me as I have a cheese intolerance but the scallops were delicious. Thoroughly recommend for a good dinner & evening out

We dined at The Olive Tree on Saturday evening, 26 July, in the upstairs area. Absolutely delicious food attractively presented by very friendly staff. Very good to see the (very pleasant) owner involving herself directly. Friendly and attentive service from all the staff. A brilliant evening and not expensive for the experience we had. Very happy to recommend.

A lovely Sunday lunch- great service and lovely thick slices of beef and a jug of gravy. Fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese as well. Sunday lunches were made to be spent at USB

Amazing food, imaginative, nutritious, well presented. I love the food here, it is so well thought out, the flavours are amazing, I can't fault the food and service here. The menu changes so there is always something new to try and it never disappoints. I only wish they did cookery courses here as i would love to cook like this.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals o Saturday lunchtime. High quality cuisine, in a friendly warm atmosphere. We will visit again.

My first port of call for a great breakfast. Treating myself again to their scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast was the best way to begin my day. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is always fresh and well presented.

Excellent service and delicious food. A lovely attentive welcome on arrival. Food was exceptional and wonderful value.
