One of the best meals we have had in a restaurant for ages. Great service, quality food you cannot cook at home and lovely atmosphere. Not cheap but still excellent value for money. Recommended

An excellent meal, whenever we visit Wells for The Comedy Festival we always try and book at The Olive Tree as we are guaranteed a quality experience which again it was with the Sunday Roast x

We had a lovely lunch at Olive last week. The food and service was excellent and the concern for allergies was welcome.

Food was great, service excellent. Good choice on the menu. Wine list was fine. Very friendly and attentive staff. Light and airy dining room, nice atmosphere. We had a window seat and although relatively close to other diners, their conversations were not heard. Location is very central. Booked online in advance and glad I did as I think there was only one available table. Not sure they would necessarily have space for walk ins. Quality of the food was lovely. Quantity of food was right. Flavoursome and well presented. Although I’m not from the area, I would go back and would recommend it.

Steak was badly overcooked and poor quality. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. The food was average, but wine was reasonably priced.
