We have dined at Goodfellows@7B on quite a few occasions now, with friends, family and on our own. We enjoy the ambiance, the service is unobtrusive but attentive but most of all the food is always excellent. Personally, I'd go to Goodfellows just for the lavender and vanilla crème brûlée.

The chef was so personable and fun to meet. We are from the U.S. and I would plan a trip just to come back, the experience was definitely a highlight of our trip. Worth every penny!

Menu Gordon Jones – BathWe have now had lunch here twice and both times were excellent. Yesterday I had the Italian chicken and my wife had the lamb shish kebab. Both were delicious and the balancing accompanying vegetables, chutney and salads were perfect. Each time the food has taken c1hr to arrive but is worth the wait. The food is sumptuous and lovingly prepared by Gordon et al; every time we've gone it has been a delightful surprise as to his latest creations. It is lovely that the chefs serve the dishes and explain what they are; the care and thought that's gone into them. The service provided by Amelia is excellent (she's a very good somelier) and the ambiance is gentle and relaxed. This is an experience we look forward to every year and is better than any Michelin guide restaurant you care to name; I absolutely guarantee you won't be disappointed.
