A wonderful restaurant for a Sunday roast. Will definitely go back. We were given loads of help choosing both the meal and wine. Well worth the visit.

Excellent Sunday lunch, the food and service was first class. We had two dogs ,one under table one in pouch (who were no trouble) the friendly welcome we received along with the warm atmosphere on such a miserable day was appreciated by us all, thank you we shall return. A really super pub

I booked in for lunch with my in-laws. It was our first visit and enjoyed the experience very much. Service was attentive and the food was very tasty and beautifully presented. A lovely civilised environment that would be perfect for a special occasion or date night (that's what I'm planning next)! Congratulations all. S

We’ve been dining at Goodfellows ever since their opening, they never fail to impress the “total package” food, wine, ambiance, attentive staff. An excellent evening, we will definitely return yet again.

Absolutely beautiful setting, delicious food & drink & excellent service (apart from forgetting spoons for desserts but putting desserts down) The food was just delicious and our 6Yr old sons said it was incredible & they cannot wait to come back! That dip with the bed was delicious, just all of it was lovely! We will be back but it was a cosy & special evening for our 10yr anniversary! Thank you

We had a delicious supper at The Olive last night. The food is exquisite. Freshly cooked, freshly sourced and full of different flavours that makes your palette zing. The bottle of wine we chose was different and delicious , a natural orange wine from Romania. We love going to The Olive for breakfast or brunch. Supper was equally exciting.

We were told about this place through word of mouth. We were really happy with the whole evening. Really cosy, sat by the fire, lovely touches- flowers from garden on table, lit candles. Service staff were friendly and polite. There was a wait for the food but we actually enjoyed that, as it made it a relaxed evening. Food was delicious and well presented. We had three small plates and two sides between two. You know it's good when every table around you is full. We will be back for sure.

Wells is fortunate to have Goodfellows. We loved the welcome, the open kitchen, excellent wine and the tasting menu was superb!

We had the recent pleasure of finding Goodfellows @7b. The service was second to none, our food absolutely delicious especially the tarte au citron Huge shame it's so far from our home but next time we are in the area we will definitely be back. Thank you Goodfellows for a memorable evening.

Excellent meals at lunchtime yesterday. We’d booked for two in advance, but as we were on a bus trip to the cathedral , three friends wanted to join us, and the restaurant were able to fit them in. All of us were impressed with our respective dishes; tasty, well presented, and good value for money. The service was superb; friendly and charming. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were visitors to Wells and thought we would try Sunday lunch as the feedback was good overall. We both had the roast beef, which was cooked to perfection, lovely and tender and very tasty. Veg was cooked just right i.e. not overcooked, roast potatoes were also just right. I had a portion of cauliflower cheese, which for me could have been a little more chessie, but you can not please everyone with that type of dish. The Sunday lunch is excellent value for money, quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Service was as it should be, attentive but not over the top. We will be back when we visit Wells again.

We went for a meal celebrating my wife's Birthday. We had the tasting menu. It was a wonderful meal. Lovely flavours. Nice bottle of wine. The atmosphere was nice and the service attentive. We will come again and fully recommend this wonderful restaurant.

The food is absolutely delicious and the wine selection is great. We had 4 small plates, which was a good amount for 2 people. The food was a little slow in arriving but worth the wait and the staff were really friendly. We will be back for another meal soon.

Came here for the first time with my Mum for a Sunday roast. It was lovely. Meat was delicious, vegetables too. Fab size portion. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This place is special. We came here to celebrate an anniversary and so we splashed out a bit on three courses. Every dish was a taste sensation! The service was also fantastic. It's not a cheap option, but for a special occasion, it's worth it!

I wish this was my local. We were staying at a nearby hotel. The staff were informal but very pleasant
