The atmosphere was very relaxed but you always feel like its a very special treat to be at MGJ. The staff are also so friendly and welcoming. Had to book again as this is such a special place!

Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilWow! The food here is amazing. We had Avocado and aubergine focaccia - incredible and Aubergine borani which was fantastic. The flavours are wonderful. Service is brilliant and coffee is fab. Relaxed atmosphere so feels really comfortable. I use all 3 cafes in this group - Old Dairy cafe at Bower Hinton and Canteen at Perrys in Dowlish Wake and the food and service is excellent in all 3.

Discussing when back home, we felt the 'normal' portion size was a little skimpy, apart from larger parsnips the quantity of meat was small and the vegetables for 3 adults was lacking and not enough. We also had to ask for extra gravy, again not as much gravy as previous visits. The food itself was of a high quality and the beef was excellent and tender with plenty of flavour. This review is comparing previous visits and Sunday lunches. We will return :-)

Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe had a most wonderful meal and experience here. Great flavours, and the wine/non alcoholic wine pairing was superb! Staff explained every dish and wine pairing, and is happy to elaborate further. Portion sizes are not very big, but they don’t need to be. We left sated (and very happy) but not uncomfortably full. We enjoyed the retro alternative music as it added to the quirky vibe.
