I've been here a few times and it's lovely and the food is great. Nice to see it busy in there. Staff are lovely and you are not hanging around much to be served. I'd definitely go back.

Union Street Brasserie – YeovilThis was the best lunch I have had for a long time. The food was freshly cooked, beautifully presented and full of flavour . The surroundings were comfortable and ambient. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. A very enjoyable experience. Would really recommend the small plates.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilIt was our first visit to Olive for lunch - what a stylish cafe serving delicicious food. We loved the design and decor features. The lunch was flavoursome and the oriental twist to the flavours & textures is very much to our liking. Service was good too. We shall recommend Olive to friends and we shall be back soon
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAs already referred to it is probably better to go early for Sunday lunch. As a none red meat eater I was going to have the chicken but it had run out and so had the cauliflower cheese and the vegetarian option! I was offered a jerk aubergine which I accepted and it came with rice. I thought I may get some roast potatoes (ie Sunday lunch style) so asked for some and got what was left, 2 small slightly over cooked but tasty roast potatoes. Sadly I can not say this for the aubergine dish, it was not good and I left most of it. My partner had roast beef with all the trimmings and enjoyed it. We also had starters and deserts and both very good. The tables are a little close together but understand maximising the space. Good overall service.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsThis was our 3rd visit to this super pub. Staff are great as is the food and the service. Lovely beer garden and brilliant for dogs.
The Masons Arms – YeovilWonderful service and knowledge of the staff to gluten free. We ordered 3 portions for onions rings. The chef spotted we'd ordered a gluten free main course and offered to do a portion gluten free. My husband was delighted as they were the first gluten free onion rings he'd had in 30 years.
The Masons Arms – YeovilSuper Sunday lunch! We dined as a couple on the second to last time slot, around 2pm. (this is important) We went straight in for mains but the starter looked great and judging by the empty plate around us, tasted good too. We ate the roast beef and roast pork options. The beef was pink but not bloody and apparently delicious. Noe to share with me! The roast pork belly was just as it should be well cooked (I assume for a very long time) but retaining all the lovely fatty flavour. Veg is veg in my book and it was all cooked to my liking. (Cooked but not soggy). Being a later time, there was no cauliflower cheese left which was a bit of a shame but it did leave space for desert. My advice go early. The only improvement for me would be a little more gravy. We did ask for more and it came promptly but a small amount more on the side at the start would have been great. The deserts we had were, 1 x chocolate brownie, 1 x grilled pineapple both came with accompanying ice creams and sauces. My choice was the pineapple and I expected it to be a warm and grilled. It may have shown a hot plate briefly but the was no charring and now heat. I think this would have lifted the dish but it was pleasant enough. The staff and great and attentive, if a little forgetful sometime ;-)
The Olive Tree Restaurant – Wellsfab food, not been for many many years since they were in the other location, WHY OH WHY did I wait so long! very impressed and will 100% be back again to revisit, well done all!
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsVery pleasant restaurant and the staff were very attentive and friendly. My chicken meal was a bit spicy for my taste, which I wasn't expecting. Dessert was delicious.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsFive of us had the special 20 Years Celebration menu on Thursday 19th September. The food was fantastic and all of our party thoroughly enjoyed every course. We received a very warm welcome from Martine. Four of us had the accompanying wine flight which Rene brought to the table with superb timing and information regarding each wine. Was a brilliant evening and pleased to have been able to share in the special 20 year celebration.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsVery welcoming with lovely staff and atmosphere! Chairs very comfortable and well spaced out! Excellent menu choices and quality food! Could not fault this restaurant and will return soon! The only slight disappointment was the price of the cheapest wine being £27 for a very average pinot grigio and not many tables had a bottle but a glass each! Really would suggest they review this as venue really could offer something just below £20 a bottle and sell so much more! Apart from that very recommended! See you soon
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsYet another fabulous evening at Goodfellows @7b. If you want somewhere where the service is second to none, the food consistently superb, the wines delectable and your enjoyment guaranteed, then this is the place for you. Thank you Goodfellows at 7b.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsFantastic food in a lovely setting. The smoked duck with roasted candied beetroot was particularly delicious. Very friendly staff and a good ambience. It was busy so I would definitely recommend booking!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAmazing food with fabulous flavours. Attentive but not too attentive team members who were super friendly. Great ambience in restaurant. Will be back. Just perfect!
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsWent to good fellows on Saturday the 21st the food and service was perfect. Completely faultless. It was a treat for my mums birthday. Can't wait to come back with my partner when Im not pregnant so I can drink the amazing wine to go with it.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsThree of us enjoyed a delicious Friday evening dinner. Food was very good indeed: definitely to be recommended and meriting a return visit. Service was friendly and helpful, though we could manage without 'Fantastic', 'No problem' after every sentence. Ambience: there are a lot of hard surfaces in the restaurant and tables are quite close together; as a consequence, background music is needed to prevent over-hearing - unfortunately it sometimes prevented hearing each other as well. Overall, a great evening out.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsI knew Olive Kitchen would be wonderful based on their local sister cafés and so we were not disappointed on Saturday evening when we went along to share some plates. Every mouthful was delicious full of flavour and perfectly presented to eye and palate. The log burner meant the space was cosy and warm, and the staff friendly and welcoming. As a day time café it’s also great with wonderful cakes and excellent coffee. I highly recommend Olive Kitchen.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilScrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
