The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely friendly staff. Food was excellent. Portion sizes are huge we actually struggled to eat it all so staff boxed it up so we could take it home. I have visited many times and have never been dissappinted with the food.

Finsley Gate Wharf – Burnley5 star!
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyAll round fantastic
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyBrilliant
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe went with high expectations after hearing good reports about the food and were extremely disappointed. We found the food underwhelming and very overpriced, despite choosing items off the "specials" board. One dish looked like it had been sat under heat lamps too long and had formed a skin on top, the other dish lacked a key ingredient that was listed in its description, resembled and tasted not much better than microwave meal. Staff also lacked wine knowledge, offering a medium option when dry was requested and my partner was accosted in the toilets by someone who was under the influence of drugs. To add insult to injury, we were overcharged for one of the mains.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWarm and welcoming atmosphere and staff, great service, great price and food was delishious , big portion and great selection
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyWe ate here on a Monday evening, one adult, one teen and one child. Firstly the atmosphere felt welcoming as we entered, secondly the young girl who allocated us to a table and who served us was polite and engaging. Nothing was to much trouble. We enjoyed our meals, we had a lasagne, adult fish and chips and a child’s meal. I didn’t think the child’s meal was good value for money, I think it was £8.99 which did include ice cream but the meal was only tomato pasta, not too costly to make. The apple juices I ordered were served in small school type beakers so several gulps from a thirsty child and they needed replacing. All in all we enjoyed it and we will visit again. It would be nice if the owners acted on the critique and adapted the children’s menu and soft drinks sizes/prices. Staff excellent.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely friendly staff , and excellent food at a proper price .
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyOnce again, fantastic!! My friend, and I, visit whenever we can, for a catch up. Love the food, the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful staff. The same lady serves us whenever we go and she is brilliant! Smiley, chatty, helpful..not sure of her name, but I would love her to be recognised for her customer service. Hoping this will get back to her. Keep up the good work..Highly recommended...
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyFirst thing to mention is that the staff were fantastic - very pleasant, smiley, engaging and speedy service. The starters were very nice but both our main courses a bit disappointing both in quality and taste. Our main gripe is that at 8pm on a Saturday evening there really shouldn't be babies and small children running about and generally being grouchy (probably should be in bed) and loud. Maybe up to 6.30/7.00 pm as a cut off time to allow those who want a more restful peaceful dining experience to avoid the creche?
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyThe food was excellent and the lady who served us was great. However, when we arrived, I wasn't happy with where we had our table, as it was directly in front of a massive TV screen, and it was on. So I asked a person behind the bar if we could move, as I could watch TV at home, and wanted a table and meal where I could talk to my guests. The person said there was nowhere ,so I asked if I could have my deposit back. She called to the manager, who was OK, he offered to move us and he would turn the TV off. I was so grateful, as it was my 72nd birthday. However my grandson heard a member of staff complaining about me making a fuss. We won't be going there again as the place has changed from the last ti e we visited. They have put in a dartboard and pool table. The music was so loud everyone around us raised their voices, because that was the only way to be heard.
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyNever disappointed! Great food, value for money and your staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble for them and everything done with a smile. Will def be back
