Came out for Mother’s Day lunch food was good value for money and staff very attentive

First time visiting here with friends and I will definitely be returning. Our server was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, I had the steak & ale pie which was so tender. Great atmosphere too and value for money. 10/10

Very nice indeed, great service and lovely venue had drinks starters and mains, the only thing I could say could have been better was that the batter of the chicken bites tasted like it was old oil, but please don't let that put you off... I would go again A*

Lovely pub with great atmosphere, greeted by a lovely waitress called Charlie nothing was a bother asked for our order with in minutes the drinks were with us and not long after piping hot delicious food the burger was beyond what expected, I had the pulled lamb cabitta which just melted in u mouth. Will recommend to anyone to go and try. Great village pub!!!!!

We booked a table online for 08/03/25 for 17:30. We got stuck in football traffic really close to the venue so we rang to say we will be there around 5 minutes after our table time for them to respond "have you booked a table" They hadn't reserved us our table even though we booked online upto 3 hours before hand and gave all the tables away to walk ins. We eneded up going elsewhere. I have been previously and it was amazing service and lovely food, I would suggest ringing to book or for them to check their online bookings

1st time visiting, lovely friendly welcome from the staff, 3 off us all ordered the same , soup starter which was a meal in it self being minestrone served with a scone, tasty & delicious, then roast beef diner the beef was to die for melted in your mouth , the cauliflower cheese was amazing very cheesy, just every was hot & tasty , wish I could have fit a pudding in but no room , the drinks were a good price , the atmosphere in the pub & the new decor was welcoming, it’s a credit to Lee & his family , will defo be back

I have been twice and on both occasion the food and service have been amazing. Well done to all involved in making this a enjoyable place to eat.

Had a great family meal, service was brilliant, staff very attentive and extremely friendly and approachable. Prices are around average for this type of venue, perhaps a little lower than some.

5 * review. Super food- we had the Po Boy sandwich and it’s one of the nicest things I’ve eaten in a pub, excellent friendly staff, pub has a lovely atmosphere and is very clean. I worked in this pub back in the 1990s when it had a great reputation, so it’s nice to see it doing well again with a brilliant menu, value for money and people who obviously care about their business. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends.

I visited, yesterday, with a friend, for lunch. It was superb!! Greeted by a friendly member of staff, who seated us. We got our drinks straight away, no waiting. The food was fabulous. I got a hot beef, onion and stilton baguette, with chips (very generous). It was incredibly good. My friend got the tuna melt baguette, again it looked really good, she enjoyed it. Reasonably priced, good food, friendly, welcoming staff...well worth a visit. Definately going back. Thankyou. 5 stars!!!

Went to Hapton Inn yesterday for Sunday dinner and I must say from the moment we entered the building it was a lovely experience. We received a warm welcome, a swift service from friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent food! We’ll definitely be back for more. Thank you to all the staff!
