After having been there several times for lunch and dinner this is the place I would recommend in Abergavenny. Do phone in advance because even with the new extension it's not easy to get a table on short notice.

The Hardwick – AbergavennyAll the traditional stuff, you'll expect on the menu, but excellent quality and taste. Nice, friendly and correct service, always a great evening out.
Bayleaf, The – AbergavennyVery good set menu with plenty of choice and great value. Very friendly staff. We have dined here many times over the past few years. Nothing much to look at but the fact that it can get very busy on certain nights says it all....in fact I'm going there tonight!
Radhuny Indian Restaurant – Cardiffthe food is great and freshly made daily, i visit once a week, buy one get one free plus free garlic bread and bottle of drink. the food is awesome! love u guys
Rocket Joes Pizza – CardiffOn 27th May 2010, it was our anniversary and wanted to dine somewhere memorable so it was really important that the restaurant of choice ticked all the boxes! The restaurant is stunning and the food to match. I ordered a starter with King prawns and Yorkshire pudding (Prawn Indigo); my main was Chicken Szechwan, both dishes were excellent. My bloke and I have raved about it ever since! Both our meals were very well presented, carefully arranged and balanced. We even had room for dessert. If you' re not an Indian food fan, don't despair as you can tell by the online menu; it's cosmopolitan and value for money. We would definitely go there again. The service was top and staff were eager to please customers. It's worth reserving a table to ensure you don't miss out. Would recommend to anyone for romantic evening or even a small party as there is a cosy booth area for friends. As you can tell I loved it, hope you do as well.
Raj of India – CaerphillyThere is extremely friendly service, with waiters more than happy to assist on any queries one may have over the various dishes, making it easy to find a great dish you'll enjoy. The quality of the food really is divine, and as a curry lover, i'm a big fan of this place. Deliciously authentic Indian cuisine.
Raj of India – CaerphillyThe best restaurant i have ever been too! The food was beautiful - beautiful presentation and it tasted divine! I went with my boyfriend for his birthday - perfect for couples very intimate and cosy - small restaurant but i enjoy a quiet meal and don't like typical busy places.
Raj of India – CaerphillyHighly recommended! The food was fantastic, service was excellent and overall a very enjoyable evening! I will be visiting again. I live an hour away and would be willing to travel on a regular basis for the standard of the food we ate!
Raj of India – CaerphillyWe went after a show which ran over time and they were very accommodating despite the fact that we were half an hour late. The food is excellent, the service attentive and the bill as reasonable. It is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I would recommend it to anyone and will be going again as soon as I can.
Raj of India – CaerphillyThis Indian restaurant is amazing. Easily one of the best in Caerphilly. The service is brilliant & the food, out of this world! I highly recommend it!!!
Raj of India – Caerphillywe have never been disappointed when eating here. The staff are all friendly and the food is good with generous portions. You are not rushed from your table and once we and our friends were there for 6 hours!!!
Raj of India – CaerphillyReader Recommended Excellent food, Excellent Service, good prices. I have been eating at the The raj of India since it opened, I think its the best Indian curry house in caerphilly and I'd recommend it to any curry fan. It doesn't have a large selection of curries but the food is always fantastic. You must try it!!.......
Raj of India – CaerphillyExcellent Indian cuisine, very large portion sizes and excellent service. Drop in and give it a try.
Raj of India – CaerphillyRecommended by Sam (9 October 2010) Best restaurant in wales. I will be doing something soon to make it even better!
Raj of India – CaerphillyNice little find!. Cosy little place overlooking the gorgeous Swansea Bay. Good quality, very reasonably priced Thai food which, having been many times to the far east, is pretty spot on (if a little less spicy - although you can augment your own by asking for prig nam pla). The bonus is they have a good selection of real ales and top continental lagers like Leffe. Just take it easy though it's 6.6%!.
Bay View Bar and Thai Dining, The – SwanseaJust returned home after a wonderful 3 course meal at Butterflies. Absolutely amazing food, couldn't fault any part of any course. Presentation above and beyond expectations and excellent professional service from the staff. Would and will highly recommend to anyone and look forward to our next visit.
Butterflies – PontypoolThis is the oldest Indian restaurant in Wales. The food is sensational. Try the original recipe curry from the 60's.
