Mamma Mia – SwanseaI am a regular to this restaurant. i have not been let down on any of visits. I have seen their deal days i have not got a chance to try it but it sound as a good value and good quantity. Their a la carte menu is very good with lots of choices and varieties. Their names on the dishes say that they are different from the other Indian restaurants. the staffs are helpful in identifying the food and during your ordering of food or meal. the ambience is good and their service as been good always. Their take away is a real bargain. The are really a speciality restaurant
Punitha’s – Cardiffmy husband and I regularly enjoy a Sunday dinner at the three horseshoes in malpas newport ,this is slightly out of the way ... but we found this by chance ,so glad ...the meals are always hot !! which is always a bonus .and you are given a selection of fresh veg in a silver terrine and also a choice of meats !! i always have a mixed that comes with boiled pots ,yorkie, roasties, and seasoning !! staff are always attentive and friendly would not hesitate to recommend .
Three Horseshoes Inn – NewportAbsolutely love pepe's great for all ages! Have been going there for 5 years and it never gets old. Highly recommended!
Snap Dragon – CardiffThe meal exceeded expectations, the service was excellent and it was reasonably priced for the standard of the venue. We went for a special occasion and it made the day. A few of the group are fussy eaters and they were happy to make adjustments (such as leaving off sauces). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Llechwen Hall Hotel – Pontypriddi went to the pub there was about 7 adults and 1 baby we had steaks the meat was lovely and tender the home made chips were amazing the staff were very friendly when when we needed something they could always help you the nicest meal ever!!!!
White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery, The – CarmarthenMe and Craig are eating more than very often at Ichiban, we never been deceived, the atmosphere is relax, the service exceptional and the Ladies working there are ever so nice . We love it and deeply recommend it, try it or you will miss it!!!! Gilles and Craig
Ichiban – CardiffWe visited the White HART after reading other comments and would say the food is the best I have ever eaten while out for the evening every thing was fresh and they even cooked meals that were not on the menu nothing seemed to be to much to do thanks great and you must go
White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery, The – Carmarthenwouldn't use again. use to think the place is fab. now they refuse to serve you if you are with people who have kids... even though they serve others in there with kids and they do have a licence to have kids on the premises so long as they are with an adult
Queens Hotel, The – SwanseaVery cosy place and good honest food. Good size portions and not expensive. A refreshing find of Mexican place that does not belong to a chain but retains Mexican food specifics well. Pleasant and attentive service
Daiquiris Restaurant – CardiffTo sum this pub up as a short review is easy - don't go there even if you are about to drop dead from hunger. Ok - Now for the explanation... My partner and I were staying at a nearby campsite (Three Cliffs - HIGHLY recommended) and decided on our first night to walk to the nearest pub for some dinner after a long drive. On getting to the pub at 8.40pm the bar manager (I assume as she was barking at all of the other staff) very abruptly told me that I needed to queue for the bar at that I wouldn't be served just walking up to the bar (there were 2girls being served at the time and nobody else in sight!). I politely smiled and went ans stood behind the girls who spent ages deciding whether or not they wanted a 'white wine or white wine spritser'. After waiting for a good 5min while they decided what they wanted another couple came into the bar, walked stright up and got served by another bar person and were ordered and gone well before I got a look in. When I finally reached the front of the (oh so massive) 'que' I ordered our drinks (to which I got no acknowledgement at all) and thepicked up the menu. When the bar manager saw me pick up the menu she very bluntly told me that I was too late for food and that they stopped serving 5min ago (bearing in mind that I had been waiting for well over 5min to be served!) I got the distinct impression that this lady didn't want me in her pub and so my partner and I, a little dejected) decided to go outside to drink our drink, rather than sit with this lady in sight. As we left the bar manager told another staff member to "tell the girls we're stopping serving food now" When outside we happened to see a large sign advertising that they served food until 9pm (by now it was 8.55pm) and so we decidedd to go inside and take the matter up with the bar manager. Again she was extremely rude and abrupt and told us that there was "nothing she could do about it" and that 'Technically' they were still serving food as people already eating were being bought their courses. Not being happy with the response that we got we asked to speak to the manager and were told that she wasn't available until much later (full stop). We informed the lovely manager that we'd wait outside for the manager while we continued to drink our drinks, but shock upon shocks the manager never came. We did get a rather timid young bar maid come out to us at 9.45pm who told us that the manager had sent her out to say that if we did want to order something we could. We politely thanked the petrified bar girl and told her that we appreviated that she had been sent out to do the bar managers dirty work but that we'd rather go hungry than spend any more money at their pub. Now you could put this down to one bad day with one grumpy bar manager, but from talking with other people at the campsite, including the staff there, it seems our experience wasn't an isolated one. So, my advice - don't go there and instead go for a short drive and head for The King Arthur pub slightly down the road.
Gower Inn – SwanseaVisited Ichiban number of times and I have been happy every time. We receive various type of food, always cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend to everyone who would like to experience well cooked, tasty and healthy food for great value.
Ichiban – CardiffExcellent friendly family run Inn&restaurant, all food prepared and cooked by the owners,Ann & Pete Warren .There is only one way to prove the quality that there is in this little "Gem" ,go visit the "Eagle"as I have done, enjoy a drink of Welsh traditional Beer's or Spirit's there, is a good selection of wine to accompany the perfect meal ,I am sure that you will leave well and truly satisfied with that.,call again feeling ,as I do.
Eagle Inn – CardiganBest Indian around; lovely food and lovely people, wouldn't even consider going anywhere else after going here
Mouchak – PorthWe have dined here twice since discovering Radhuny, from the outside it looks quite ordinary, but don't be deceived, once inside, the staff are friendly and polite, the menu is varied and the food arrived very quickly. If you're tired of being ripped off with high prices and bad food then try the Radhuny, it's such a change to leave a restaurant feeling happy and not having spent a fortune. Give it a try!
Radhuny Indian Restaurant – Cardiffwent here for Sunday lunch-ok nothing to shout about tho. I'm a vegetarian, and they had no veggie option available, the waitress said that's all they had was veg lasagna, but it was a Sunday and i wanted Sunday lunch- Also if i wanted the lasagna then i should have rang and pre booked it the day before. what a load of nonsense, isn't it the 21st century????
Green Acre Hotel – BridgendWe went there today; a sign said wait to be seated at the front of the pub. We waited behind another family for a few minutes. During this time various waitresses passed us and bar staff looked over, at this point I went over to the bar and asked to be seated the barman relied in an indifferent manner just help yourselves and looked away! Any of the staff who saw us waiting and other families waiting could have told us we did not need to wait grrr! It would be nice to have good service there like in the U.S.A where they value your custom!
