They obviously didn't want me there. I had a beer on the table in 4 mins, dinner in under 10! The bread that came to the table consisted of two very soggy pieces in a basket with a greasy crumpled serviette. The bill was on the table in 14 mins, I left a minute later! My previous meal was in a pub in Leicester, Confit of Duck, black pudding, roast potatoes and an apple sauce. A million times better, at half the price! Guess they judge customers by appearence, and serve accordingly. Trouble is, I'm used to good restaurants, but if going to a rugby match, I dress for it and travel light If in Leicester, try The Pub, The Bootroom, or Casa Romana. If in Swansea avoid Mamma Mia!

"The pub looked nice, the menu looked nice but... Oh dear! the food was disgusting. I had filo leek tart with jacket potato. The pastry was a solid greasy lump (hard to do with filo pastry) and the jacket pot was stone cold in the middle. It seems to me a great tragedy that someone employed as a "chef" a) cant be bothered to put a few spuds in the oven when s/he gets to work, and has to microwave cold ones, b) has so little knowledge of cookery that they are unable to reheat said a potato in a microwave efficiently. ALSO we asked if it was possible to have some salad dressing. We were brought a milk jug full of vegetable oil, nothing else just oil. Suffice to say I wont be eating there again! "

Easily the best and most traditional of sushi restaurants in Cardiff. Food is always incredibly fresh and flavorsome as well as great service and prices.

I have eaten here and the food is great - generous portions and lovely fresh produce.

Cornish Arms – Llanelli

Excellent Sunday lunch - vast portions, we had beef and lamb, both were very good, plus a huge bowl of cauliflower cheese and another bowl of veg. All good quality ingredients, which the landlord is keen to source locally. A nice touch was the landlord came out to ask us if we had enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended.

Food and service was very good. A very large menu was on offer and the quality of food was superb. The restaurant was modern, accommodating and offered a warm atmosphere. They also have live bands most nights. A great place to go for a complete evenings dining/entertainment.

Had our Christmas do at this restaurant and it was absolutely brilliant. The xmas decorations and music were very tasteful and the atmosphere very festive. The food was delicious and service spot on considering we were a party of 30. Will definitely be returning again in the new year. Highly recommended !

Home cooked chips not frozen and they are delicious. The food is typical pub choice but made to a high standard. Would recommend the fish and chips or homemade corned beef pie. Would definitely return and recommend the Redcow.
