We enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch here on 20th October. Generous slices of tender beef sirloin from a local producer with all the usual accompaniments. Others had roast pork and sea bass, all pronounced as excellent. Need to book as becoming very popular. Nice to see the pub come to life again after a period in the doldrums.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere and a really fab waitress. Great value for money too.

Nice Thai meal at Bangkok Cafe with good service. The allergen information is provided and excellent, but we were disappointed with the number of gluten-free choices available. No sharing starters are gf ( just soup) and just Pad Thai and salads as a main course. Although this was excellent, many other restaurants make gf more of a priority. Meals were enjoyed despite the lack of starters

Afternoon tea, first time visit - Absolutely wonderful experience, food was delicious, really great vegetarian options, and everything was presented beautifully. The atmosphere was charming and peaceful. Such friendly service,made to feel so welcome. Will definitely be visiting again. A must visit! Take your little girls and boys!

Enjoyed the Dexter burger very much. My wife had the Linguine but disappointed with the quantity of crab. Overall we like the improvements you have made but feel that charging extra for potatoes and vegetables makes your fish dishes too expensive. Love the real ale at the cellar temperature? Well done Tom.

We are in for a change rather than our usual takeaway. Food and service was superb as usual. I had the duck pancakes followed by the green curry and rice. Excellent choice of gluten free and vegan options.

I had the ribeye steak cooked medium, one of the best steaks I have ever had cooked for me. Really nice place inside, really clean and All the staff were really nice and polite, everything was on point. Shall definitely be returning when I get the chance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our regular spot for an evening meal, always very good service. Food is great, plenty of choice with hot and milder options. Portion sizes are more than sufficient, don’t often have room for dessert
