Visiting Cardiff from Belfast and came here on a recommendation and it was absolutely beautiful. The most authentic Thai food and the green curry is absolutely beautiful. Quick service and fantastic value for money, plus the lady serving was extremely lovely. Thank you for an amazing dinner!

We chose the Copper Pot for a birthday meal and really enjoyed our evening there. The steak and chicken burger were delicious and good value. We received a surprise complimentary glass of bubbly for the occasion and felt welcomed by the friendly staff. Will definitely go back there in the future.

Asked for cheese and chutney got cheese and coleslaw - my friend asked for a plain ham sandwich and got ham salad Table not cleared for ages despite two waitresses standing around behind counter - the man seemed to be working very hard though - service was the issue the food was lovely

We enjoyed a delicious festive lunch served by a lovely lady, whose name I didn't catch. Would definitely book again.

Place looked decent, and the menu was great, but sadly it was all let down by the overcooked, dry meals. The girls serving were excellent. Let down by the kitchen. We like to eat locally, but unfortunately won't be going back.

Unfortunately we didn't attend for afternoon tea, as our booking wasn't honoured. Booking made in October, then tea rooms changed it to Christmas tea and added £20 to the price!

What a lovely afternoon tea at Pettigrews. Great selection of sandwiches, the scone, jam & cream was to die for. Little chocs and fruit and also a choice of homemade cakes which we had to take home with us as we couldn't eat another thing. First time for hubby to experience afternoon tea and what a fab place to have it.
