The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldThe place I meet the girls. More than just a lovely restaurant. We have drinks in the lounge and use the spa. Very relaxing with friendly and professional staff.
Cottons Hotel & Spa – KnutsfordLovely food, great service
Brunos Rodizio – WarringtonThe food and surroundings are excellent at this Scandinavian themed restaurant in Macclesfield. We had the Scagan to start and the Salmon and Meatballs for the mains. All were delicious and well presented. For pudding we had the chocolate cake and syllabus which were both home made and tasted fantastic. In summary a great place to try.

Elmas Restaurant – LymmNot the best meal we’ve had, but it was ok.
Purple Pakora – MarpleVisited before and it was decent. Tonight had a terrible experience. We arrived just before two other parties of 8 people. Both parties were served before us meaning that it took our first drinks almost 30 minutes to arrive and as for the food....well some of it never arrived at all. Tapas is laid back and comes when it’s ready. In this case they brought plates that we didn’t order and we had to ask on multiple occasions for plates that never appeared. Quite frankly it was chaos. I had to ask for water four times. They lost out on food and drink sales due to incompetence. As for the food. Tonight it was distinctly average at best. I hate under seasoned food but this was so salty that some were inedible such as the chicken skewers and calamari. Two of our party spoke to the manager on separate occasions. Nothing improved. We were promised a discount off the bill. That never materialised either. Very disappointing on all counts. I would like to think this was a one off poor experience from a food and from a service perspective. But it will take some persuading for me to return.
Sabrosa – OxtonWe had a great lunch on Christmas Eve.
