Excellent food and excellent service from the young waitress

We really enjoyed our meal, only comment is that the mash was a bit lumpy.

Had Sunday lunch with my husband and sister in law, first time I have seen her clear her plate. Fabulous meal, tender beef which just pulled apart, turkey moist and succulent. Great value, lovely presentation, staff a pleasure to meet. We've been here many times and are never disappointed.

Me and some friends had the festive menu, it was absolutely lush. Big portions and so tasty. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Me and my partner went Sunday for our Christmas meal and it did not disappoint like other venues we been too. The food was lovely and hot and plenty of it and I had the beef was cooked to perfection. My partner had the turkey and she really enjoyed it as she can be a little fussy with her food. The staff was pleasant and well presented and I know it's just a country pub but it all makes a difference in the experience. The only thing I can ask is please can the heating be turned onto a welcome warmth as we was a bit chilli but overall we really enjoyed it and definitely come again.

We had my sons 25th Party in the main room it was fab, loads of space to mingle, great staff and the buffet food was great value as well. Thanks for making his birthday special.

We had a family meal for 10 on a Saturday lunchtime - the food and the service was absolutely great. All of the food home cooked to a very high standard. Because of the age variations, it was a great idea to have options for smaller appetites that were not kids meals - the specials were varied and interesting as well. We have been before and will be back again.

We had an absolutely gorgeous breakfast here on Friday morning. It was cooked to perfection, plenty of it and reasonably priced. We had a child with us who has multiple food allergies and they went out of the way to call me beforehand to ensure that her food was safe for her to eat. Will definitely be back.

We found the restaurant area very cold, we ordered rump steak, I ordered med/well done my wife ordered med without any blood, we were both disappointed,my wife’s steak was very tuff and bloody,having previously been to your pub for Sunday lunch we thought it would be as good, but it wasn’t.

Comfortable setting, great choice of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Varied menu with additional vegetarian and vegan options. Well seasoned and beautiful food, healthy portions, and all served by helpful and friendly staff. We shall return!

Visited the Codrington arms on Sunday . The food was amazing will definitely be going back . Staff were great and service was excellent . 10/10 .

We had a delicious roast here yesterday, adult and child portions though both were very generous. Service was quick and friendly and my 8 year old loved playing the games there in between courses. We'll definitely be back again.

We booked for afternoon tea and cannot fault it. The food was brought out in stages which made the whole thing so much more relaxed and enjoyable. All of the food was fresh and tasted home made which made it feel so much more personal. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it and left there feeling comfortably full. Would definitely go again.

Five of us came for Sunday lunch and we will definitely be returning as the food and service was excellent.
