We have been coming here for a few years now and have a over an hour round trip to visit.. great food service as always .

As I am vegetarian and my wife is vegan this Whins is our utopia. The food and service are excellent . We have been several times for breakfast and recently had out first evening meal there. All I can say is go and try it. We loved everything about it .

What a fantastic find for both non-vegans and vegans. Our new favourite eatery. We have now sampled breakfast, mains and desserts and all were 5 star.

We had a wonderful evening at Whins - really lovely food (in very generous portions), delicious wine and excellent service! So nice to have a place like this to go to again. It pleased a vegan and an omnivore alike :-) I highly recommend.

Fabulous meal, great restaurant, complied with all Covid rules. Three course menu is great value for money, choice was extensive for a fixed menu Can't fault it .

Beautiful surroundings but that’s were it ended. On arrival our booking could not be found but we were shown to a table! Party of four booked for 6.30 pm! Rack of lamb had run out! Two ordered duck. It was over cooked when it arrived and dry! It couldn’t be cut into. One ordered sea bass which arrived whole with head & tail removed. Picking through the bones was tedious! We waited 40 mins for someone to come and take a sweet order! Four coffee’s ordered only three arrived!! Expensive!! We were not looked after! Will not be returning unfortunately as it’s on our doorstep.

Love the place. The food is quality and tasty. The environment and view is stunning. The staff are lovely. Great to eat vegan without feeling like you’re offered a small portioned or poor quality token dish. The specials with a meal and dessert for £15 is as reasonable as anywhere. Lucky to have it on our doorstep.

First visit for my birthday and loved it. Had the burger and it was delicious. Lovely setting. Will visit again

Visited a few times for coffee as it's in a wonderful setting however last Sunday was the first time for food, I had the full Vegan breakfast which was delicious with tofu scrambled eggs a new thing for me while my partner enjoyed a mushroom and goat's cheese omelette, Well worth a visit.

Another lovely meal at Whins Green with my Mum. Delicious food with a beautiful view out onto the fields. Hope to return soon.

Fabulous food, courteous service. Have been visiting Papas for 25 years and not disappointed once. Whole Covid thing addressed really well. One of my families favourite places to eat out.
