The afternoon tea was fabulous, could not fault the food. However, the service could definitely have been much better. We had to ask 3 times for more tea and twice to the bar to follow up. Our suggestion would be for the staff to spend less time polishing glasses and sorting cutlery and more time checking on their guests. We also weren't asked what tea we wanted with the afternoon tea. Such a shame for our afternoon as the food was amazing but let down by the service.

Another visit on Tuesday 31st August. Restaurant quiet after bank holiday and return of schools. Excellent meal and great attentive service .

It is as it says beautiful surroundings, excellent food, top marks to the Head chef. I visited with my son who is vegan and yes he was impressed too. Although it may sound very harsh the service was very bad. We were told that the food would take 40 mins as it was all prepared fresh which is fair enough but it did take double this time. The service seemed to be uncoordinated completely, no one seemed to have had any training or experience and each time we asked for something even a glass of water it took a long time for them to bring it. Maybe the staff were all new and the service will improve I do hope so as Whins Green Kitchen is a little gem of a restaurant but in our experience was let down badly in terms of the poor service given. I will visit again and will be curious to see if improvements have been made.

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. Food, atmosphere, staff and view were all fantastic. Very clean and fresh looking, tables nicely spaced. I have an allergy to a certain food and the staff were very careful to make sure it was not in the food in ate. The food was fresh and well presented. There was nothing I didn't enjoy about my visit. Highly recommended, I'll be back again soon.

This the third time that we have been here and it certainly won't be the last, the food is amazing not had anything that we didn't like and the staff are so friendly and happy to help. The views certainly help too We can honestly not recommend this highly enough

Fabulous vegan breakfast and oat milk with mixed berries smoothie .. top quality and all well cooked as you would expect for the price . Will DEFINITELY BE GOING AGAIN ! Lovely toilets beautifully dressed . Views as you sit overlooking the gorgeous countryside and incredible !

Lovely meal to celebrate my sons A level results. Food was delicious and the service was great especially the younger staff , very polite and helpful.

Thank you for such a beautiful place in such peaceful surroundings to dine. I have been to Whins kitchen on many occasions and enjoyed your beautiful food and serene atmosphere and in view to my many positive experiences I decided to make a planned booking. Unfortunately, I am really sorry to say my experience had been extremely disappointing with the food and despite booking in advance. My friend and I had been celebrating a very special occasion and had wishes in the main to experience Whins kitchen to make a future plan for her family to try . We had booked a window seated area in the main to enhance our experience. During the time spent we had to be seated else where to accommodate other customers, on completing our meal making ourselves very uncomfortable, feeling the rush to leave. The mature male server made ourselves feel very under valued and had been quite rude in his non verbal ways to communicating. This had been a shame as this had taken the joy away to dine at whins making the experience more like a canteen, service being quickly in and the processed quickly out. The food has always been above excellence at whins kitchen and staff have always been very welcoming , this particular occasion the mature server seemed very stressed and dismissive to our food comments concerning the vegan pizza presenting as under cooked. I am personally disappointed , as Whins kitchen has always been extremely excellent, in both the service and the food being second to no other in the area. I am more disappointed as i actually booked in advance and maybe I was expecting something special. Thank you for taking my comments on board and hope they can be helpful towards management.

Had the early bird dinner last night and as ever was very impressed with the service, food and ambience of this restaurant.

Dined at Papa Luigis in Euxton on a Wednesday evening. My friend and I both dined from the Early Evening Menu and all the food was delicious. A lively atmosphere due to several birthday parties but good service and a lovely meal which was also very good value.

The restaurant has a very good ambience. The menu is very extensive and not just Italian as we had expected. Food quantities were huge both for starters and for mains. So having selected both we found it was too much to eat. The food quality was also good. I ordered the T-bone steak with peppercorn sauce - excellent. We will definitely come again.

Mum and I had lovely welcome on Sunday.. The place and views are beautiful and the food amazing. Can't wait to go again.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced. Never had a bad meal.
