I took my mum for a meal before we went across to St Mary's Church, Astbury for a heritage open day. We both had steak and ale pie - it was stuffed full of meat and very tasty - best pub steak and ale pie we have ever had anywhere. Service was excellent and friendly. We have had several family meals here before over the years and it has always been good.

The food was amazing and staff was excellent and attentive. Was dog friendly which we had two with us. Such a lovely looking restaurant and price wasn't bad for the amount and quality. Xx

Stop off on way South. Staff very friendly and supper and breakfast both excellent. Rooms could do with some redecorating but very clean and very comfortable. Would definitely return

I took my dad to the egerton arms for lunch yesterday and not only was the food great but the service was amazing. My dad has some mobility issues and it’s really important when we go out that he is made to feel respected and included . The staff did just that, they were brilliant with everyone in there and really created a good atmosphere! Would definitely go again

We were a table of four and had a lovely meal in a nice pub atmosphere. Very friendly and service-minded staff. Puddings seemed a bit expensive, but they were very tasty.

As a large party everyone enjoyed the food and found the service excellent. Dom was very obliging and demonstrated great customer service. I would definitely recommend the food and service.

On Saturday evening after a concert at St Mary’s Church I took a party of 30 to the Egerton Astbury Everyone choose there own Menu, it was fantastic, food, ambiance d superb staff Highly recommend Dorothy

This an amazing pub, we had never been before but certainly will be coming again. The food was very good, the unicorn bitter was spot on. The desserts where fantastic. Staff was lovely. Thank you to all.

Nine of us plus 3 dogs were in the snug room by the front door, it was perfect as we didnt have to keep the dogs under the tables to stop them bothering other visitors. Food was excellent as was the service from very well trained friendly, helpful staff. We love it there

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended we had a Sunday lunch and the chef adapted a meal for us, nothing to much trouble.

We stayed two nights in a room at the Egerton Arms and had our meals there both evenings. There was a sufficient choice of dishes for us. We didn't have to wait long before or after ordering the food. It was all tasty and the portions were generous to the extent that after starters and mains we skipped desserts. The selection of wines on offer was reasonable. Service to table was very good. On average for the two nights we paid £75 per night for aperitifs, two course meal and wine. Very good value for money.
