Lovely little pub with amazing food. Very welcoming and staff are fantastic
The Coach and Horses – CongletonWhat a little gem. Had a lovely meal along with my family and one dog. A relaxed atmosphere and the staff were helpful and service was spot on. The food arrived hot and was cooked to perfection. Food was good value for what we ate. Dogs are welcomed and treats available. Even had a unicorn outside having her food. Ample outside seating with amazing views over Cheshire. Looking forward to calling in again.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonNice country pub with great views across the Cheshire plain,a few locals at the bar, friendly atmosphere,we both had the liver and onions and mustard mash, very well cooked and tasty, good service,we would return.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonWe visited for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and accommodating, even managing to fit in an extra person at short notice. The food was delicious and great value for money. The outdoor area was a real highlight, with beautiful views and plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Highly recommended!
The Coach and Horses – CongletonDined here on Father's Day.Food was delicious, especially the thick roast beef dinner.Service was efficient and friendly.Views from the back of the pub were amazing.Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonWe visited to have a meal before the Russell Watson show at the nearby church. It was very busy. The food was delicious except the cheesecake was a little disappointing/dry and another in our party didn't like chickpeas in the chilli main meal. There seemed to be too many people dining. Whilst waiting in the bar area, there was little room for the waiters/waitresses to carry the food, drinkers had to constantly move out of the way. We attended last year and it seemed that people dined only in the restaurant area separate from people drinking in the bar. It was good, but could be better - it was too busy sadly.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonFood is absolutely top notch. We had lamb, and it melted in your mouth. Our starter of garlic and Stilton mushrooms was to die for and I don’t mind admitting we tipped the bowls up at the end to drink the beautiful sauce. Well worth the price and both the food and the service will be hard to beat. This is going to be a regular stop off when we want to eat out.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe had our wedding meal here the food was top quality and the service was excellent. Set in a lovely location would highly recommend to others.

Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe held our ‘night before’ wedding drinks and dinner at the Edgerton and were able to have sole use of the restaurant. We ordered large trays of lasagne, garlic bread, salad and a choice of cold desserts and the food was fantastic! All the staff were very attentive and all our guests had a fab evening, thank you.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonI took my mum for a meal before we went across to St Mary's Church, Astbury for a heritage open day. We both had steak and ale pie - it was stuffed full of meat and very tasty - best pub steak and ale pie we have ever had anywhere. Service was excellent and friendly. We have had several family meals here before over the years and it has always been good.

Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonI took my dad to the egerton arms for lunch yesterday and not only was the food great but the service was amazing. My dad has some mobility issues and it’s really important when we go out that he is made to feel respected and included . The staff did just that, they were brilliant with everyone in there and really created a good atmosphere! Would definitely go again
