We visited with trepidation knowing that this place was refurbished and under new ownership but we were so pleasantly surprised ! The refurb is tasteful and retains all of the historical charm. The staff are professional and friendly and the food is delicious.

Lovely pub, friendly staff and delicious food, the carvery was excellent and desserts heavenly. We will definitely be back.

The service was attentive despite the bar and restaurant being very busy. I had booked a table for two and left messages and phoned to ask whether they could accommodate two extra people at our table. Unfortunately, I received no reply, apparently due to an internet connection issue, so we decided to turn up hoping to be accommodated The kitchen was consulted to see whether they had enough food to service 2 extra people and fortunately they were able to do so. The place was buzzing with people, which was lovely to see. The food was hot and well cooked, although I prefer my roast potatoes to be much crispier. My main criticism was the portion of cauliflower cheese. For four people, we were given only a very small dish to share between the 4 of us. I assumed this may have been because the kitchen was running low on the roast accompaniments. Plus we were, unfortunately, sat by the speakers and the music was too loud and intrusive for us. Next time we would request a table away from the speakers. Overall, though, it was a busy and lively atmosphere, with attentive service and a good standard roast.

Visited twice now whilst on holiday in Ludgvan . Both meals were excellent, service was second to none . Sunday lunch outstanding and the cauliflower cheese bake is something else. We will definitely return .

Excellent food, great atmosphere and staff are friendly and make the place! I had the prawns and burger and husband had the pate and fish and chips, fantastic good quality ingredients. Would highly recommend The White Hart

Bar-maid friendly and helpful, interior attractive and welcoming, food and drink of good standard. Top marks go to smash-burger - succulent and delicious, truffle fries - tasty, and the wild mushroom linguine - rich and generous. Will visit again.

Best roast dinner we've ever had in Cornwall! Such a fantastic meal and great options for a vegetarian. We will 100% be back to try the rest of the menu.

A delicious vegetarian Sunday roast with a White Hart touch of combinations and tastes in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Importantly, with crunchy roast potatoes.

As always a really tasty meal. Our party each had something different and everyone said how nice it was. We also had one each of the desserts which were all amazing. The service is attentive, quick and friendly

Great pub, lovely location and friendly staff. Our meal was a disappointment, being over salted (every dish) and a bit bland. For example, I had plaice and it was just salty white mush. The others had chicken supreme, which was just a roast chicken leg sat on undercooked broccoli swimming in a bland sauce.

The food was absolutely amazing, 11/10 all round! Staff always friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend anybody to come here on any occasion
