The Pint and Post – LauncestonAll I can really say is that, this is the best place for fish and chips and my kids love it. They are very friendly and try to get the orders out as soon as they can as they are always busy. Love love Codfather fish and chip shop :) :)
The Codfather – LauncestonWide variety of good quality food cooked to perfection and very good value for money. Wonderfully clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff so we won't hesitate to travel out of our way to eat here again on our next trip to Cornwall.
The Hop and Vine Steak and Ale House – St AustellMy family went for the second time today. Last time I had a perfect sea trout with pepper coulis sauce. Today for an extremely good value Sunday lunch I have a roast beef dinner which was the best tasting I could ever have imagined. Eat here and you'll never want to eat out anywhere else again. Cannot be missed during a holiday to St Ives.
St Andrews Street Bistro – St IvesWe visited by helicopter, before the service was cancelled! We loved st Mary's and the Deli too. We also purchased a "scilly old bag" bag - the taller one! I have just about worn it out now - taken 3 years though! Is it possible to purchase a replacement, happy to pay postage. Full name and address will be supplied upon request. I will miss all the wonderful comments I receive when people see the bag! From a true silly old bag :)
The Deli – Scilly IslesBest chippy in Perranporth. Good food, good value, great service. Only snag is, they close down for the winter. Remember your loyal locals, stay open all year!
Browns Fish and Chip Shop – PerranporthReopened under new ownership in early 2014. Interesting very old pub in the main street of Liskeard -also accessible from the rear of the pub which adjoins the town's large car park. We had Tribute real ale from St Austell and draught Guiness that were both perfect. Also has other draught real ale and lagers. Wide choice of meals with large portions and good prices that we thoroughly enjoyed. I had an all day breakfast at 12 midday and didn't need any more food that day!Interesting old pub sign over 100 yeara old is displayed on the wall inside.
The White Horse Inn – LiskeardAnother excellent evening at Austells. We were so touched that they remembered us (thank you Emma) even though we can only visit when we are down in Cornwall for a holiday/short break. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for value, service, and above all, excellent food. Look forward to seeing you all again in July!
Austells – St AustellA NICE FAMILY RUN PUB, GOOD BEER GOOD COMPANY, BETTER PRICES.
The Collins Arms – RedruthLunch for 8 on 8th March. Great welcome, hot delicious meal and good pricing. Staff were happy and attentive and the owner a fun guy. Will definitely go back when next down.
Mimis Vintage Diner – St AustellAppalling way to do 'business'! Miranda agreed to make and deliver a cake for a friend who lives in Hayle. After a month she claimed to have delivered it but my friend has received nothing. She will not replace the cake or refund my money. Utter disgrace to the world of business.
Johnnys Cafe – HayleThis is a nice pub but dosen't do food.
The Collins Arms – RedruthWe have been visiting Brett and Emma at Austells for many years and it just seems to get better every time and considering our first meal was excellent you wonder how it can improve. The service is second to none, all staff very helpful with a warm smile and Brett does what he does best in the kitchen. A1**
Austells – St AustellI used to visit this restaurant regularly in the 1980s when I lived in Cornwall. I went back there recently for the first time in 30 years and I was amazed that the quality of food and friendly service had not altered in all that time. Some would say that lack of change is a downside to a restaurant, but I would differ. The Waterside Meadery has an amazing charm all of its own and if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Waterside Meadery – PenzanceGreat pub, great food 5x and the new landlord is a gent.
Ring ‘O’ Bells – TorpointI was recomended by a friend Lovely food will go back for more.
Afro-Caribbean Pot – TorpointThe food was amazing, service was great, friendly and helpful. The best food ever, so fresh and healthy. I have told everyone i know that its a must try. my new take away company.
Afro-Caribbean Pot – TorpointHad a wonderful meal at the Ivy House 2 weeks ago. Very polite owners, very accommodating and wonderful food at reasonable prices.
