The food was delicious and it was a nice cosy little restaurant.
Moonflower – HelstonMy other half took me here a few months ago as I had been told the food was out of this World. The menu was very good, giving options for non-seafood eaters as well as some real treats for those that do. We had a wonderful 3 course meal with wine for a little under £100 which was excellent value as the food was faultless and the service polite. A really wonderful restaurant in a beautiful part of Cornwall that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Seafood Restaurant The – PadstowBig piles of pasta and a great ambience, a proper Italian gem!
Da Vinci – FalmouthLovely find, set above the cliffs in this pretty fishing village. A very welcome, new style bar and restaurant, that has a very attractive menu. I had the home made battered haddock with good chips and tartare sauce, a large glass of white wine, both were excellent. The atmosphere was warming and relaxed as everyone gazed out of the windows at the view.
The Edge – Port IsaacHad an absolutely wonderful meal here. Excellent value for money, brilliant service and will visit again.
Xen Noodle Bar – TruroFrankly wonderful
The Cove – FalmouthThis is a great place for dinner. Good food and a wonderful view.
The Garden Bar and Restaurant – PenzanceLovely food and nice people.
Lotus Thai Restaurant – NewquayNice place, a little lacking given the £80 price tag for a dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine and a shared desert. Would probably head elsewhere if I were to spend that dough again as at the price I reckon there is probably better. We did enjoy our evening here and the food was good to very good. Service was with a smile though a bit lacking in knowledge and very informal, which suited us fine. they just seemed to forget to do all the right things at the right times, and this was on a Monday night in October.
Cornish Range – PenzanceEXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn? have asked for better
Alverton Hotel – TruroI thought the food was fantastic and good waitress service
Lotus Thai Restaurant – NewquayBeen here for lunch a few times - with mixed results. The first time outstanding the second v. ordinary. Generally good though.
Shed Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – FalmouthGood chinese restaurant. Used to be excellent but the change in head chef has resulted in a decline in quality. - although their crispy duck is still excellent
Mings Garden – FalmouthGreat simple food done well. Steaks, Pizzas and fish all done to a good standard.
Warehouse Bistro – FalmouthProbably the best place for seafood. If you don't like fish don't come here. Cosy restaurant and friendly staff - highly recommended
Seafood Bar, The – FalmouthSuperb food - probably the best in Falmouth. Waitresses a little slow .
The Cove – FalmouthGreat Indian restaurant and friendly staff
Asha – FalmouthExcellent food - probably 2nd best restaurant in Falmouth, behind the Cove at Maenporth. Sophisticated yet friendly atmosphere.
