⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Raph’s Lounge in Cottingham on Thursday the 2nd of October as a table of seven, and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! The young lady who served us was so sweet, attentive, and welcoming, and the manager made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was far beyond what you’d expect from a lunchtime meal – it felt more like a high-class evening dining experience. Beautiful presentation, excellent flavours, and a really cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Popped in for a meal today with a friend and we were seated opposite the kitchen. The Chef was singing while cooking, which added such a fun and cheerful atmosphere! The food was lovely, service was very good, although it did feel a little busy for just one member of staff on the floor. Overall, a really enjoyable visit – we’ll definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here on Wednesday for a 50th with a group of seven, and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious—as it always is—and the service was just as impressive. A lovely lady called Rose served us, and she couldn’t have been more wonderful. We’ve been here loads of times and it never disappoints. 5/5 for food every time!

We visited this restaurant in Cottingham at the weekend and booked a table. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Our server, Ellie, was so polite and welcoming – she really made us feel comfortable. Even though it was quite busy, everything ran smoothly. The only slight downside was that furniture was being moved around in front of us, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. We stayed into the evening for the band, who were fantastic, and it really added to the atmosphere. For such a small place that’s usually full of drinkers, the quality of the food really stood out. A brilliant evening overall!

We visited around 12pm and tried the new Sunday roast — it was absolutely delicious! We’re new to this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back. The restaurant was quiet at the time, but that seems to be the case for many places in the UK at the moment. With the quality of food we had today, we’re sure this place will continue to build a loyal local following. We’ll be recommending this little gem we’ve found in Cottenham to our friends and family.

We visited on Wednesday afternoon and took advantage of the pizza deal, ordering two pizzas. Wow – they were delicious! The pizzas were very tasty and well worth the price. We came from near Goole for a funeral and decided to stop by for lunch, and we couldn’t fault the food at all. The only thing I would mention is that there could be a bit more staff to support the young girl working on her own – she did a great job, but a little extra help would make things run even smoother. We will definitely be visiting again, next time with family and friends!

What can I say? We’re from Cottingham and we come to Raph’s every week to eat. The food is always excellent, and the chef always greets us, coming over to our table to ask if everything is okay and how our week has been. You don’t often see a chef come out to talk to customers, and that’s something really special. He’s a real blessing for Raph’s and speaks to almost every customer – which is so nice to see. See you again soon!

⭐ 5/5 Came to Raph’s Lounge on Thursday night for a birthday, and everything was absolutely outstanding! The food was prompt, fresh, and delicious, and the service was just as impressive — the two girls working couldn’t do enough for us. We felt really well looked after and will definitely be booking again. Thank you, Raph’s Lounge, for a fantastic evening!

Came here today with a friend for the lunchtime menu — we both had the souvlaki, and it was cooked to perfection! The girl who served us was very polite and even asked if we had any dietary requirements, which you don’t hear very often in most places. Thank you for the great service and food!

Hi 6 of us came for a meal on Friday and we were very disappointed with some meals. 2 Greek lamb meals were very overcooked, the chicken on another Greek dish was dry. The lamb fillets were extremely tough. Sauces were very tasty but spoilt by overcooked meat. The waitress was lovely and did offer to have them recooked but we didn’t have time to wait and obviously wanted to eat together.

Arrived a few minutes late, we were greeted with a smile and hello and show to our allotted table which was well placed. The service was excellent and we were never kept waiting. Food was excellent quality and piping hot where required. Food quality was excellent and good portions. Good range of drinks Overall a great experience, well done Raphs Lounge we will definitely be back!!!
