Food was lovely, although service was a bit disjointed that is to say that a table of two like ourselves that came in half an hour after us got served there starter whilest we were still waiting for our main (we did not have a starter) however that said the staff were very lovely and accommodating ,

The Red Lion – CoventryService was little longer than usual as it was busy. People appear to be waiting a while for food. Food wasn't as hot as it usually was but very nice. Wouldn't go on Sunday again as very busy and not usual service. No complaints on the quality of food.

All meals were lovely although the parents being older would have preferred thier liver and mash on a plate with a little less gravy other than in a bowl swimming in gravy, all the same they both said how nice and tasty it was. The lady who served us was lovely and ensured we had everything we wanted throughout our time there. Have been here for celebrations previously and would certainly go again. Lovely country pub feel with real fire to keep us warm and well priced, I think you can take dogs in the bar too but not in the main area for eating. Thank you for a pleasant afternoon.
