Pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff and great food
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent service even though staff were dealing with a very busy Sunday. Well cooked, good quality meals. And drinks brought out quick and fresh
The Red Lion – CoventryLovely place to visit. Right out in the countryside. Good to die for
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent Sunday lunch, very tasty, getting the simple things spot on. Hot food, plentiful and tasty.
The Red Lion – CoventryMy self and 4 friends came for a meal and were greeted by friendly staff .all our meals were lovely and service was excellent
The Red Lion – CoventryFood was lovely, two meals were steak and was cooked as required. The other meals were halloumi chicken (chilli jam was tasty) and peppered chicken (a special) and the chicken was not dry. Wasn’t a long wait for food either and it was a Saturday night. Staff are really friendly.
The Red Lion – CoventryVery friendly as always. We all loved our meals
The Red Lion – CoventryFood was good, especially the Pate and Toast with red onion chutney which was devine. My main dish chicken with pepper sauce was good, however a little too many peppercorns.
The Red Lion – CoventryAlways a good meal at the Red lion, service very good, used this pub alot lately, very friendly staff
The Red Lion – CoventryIt was an absolutely spot on meal. After a very hard and stressful day it was very welcome.
The Red Lion – CoventryWe are regular visitors and always enjoy the food and atmosphere here. The lasagne is a great favourite with us all.
The Red Lion – CoventryAte off the lunchtime menu which had plenty of choices at a great fixed price. Food was excellent, I had faggots that were served more like a meatloaf but tasted great. The curry was spicy as was the Cajun chicken. Beer was a bit pricey but overall a good 3 course lunch at just under £60 per couple.
The Red Lion – CoventryHad a lovely meal, service very good, waitress was very nice and helpful, didn't wait long for food. We have booked again with family on 17th May

The Red Lion – CoventryAmazing staff and fantastic manager Niamh always so nice and professional great service and the food is always good this is my local and I love it x
The Red Lion – CoventryWe haven't eaten here for many months - the main reasons being 1. Our favourite dish - Black Country Faggots were no longer on the menu :( and 2. Hubby was annoyed at the absence of any real ale other than in bottles. Thought we’d give it another chance last night though and we were delighted that the faggots were back on the menu and Doom Bar on draught! Waitresses were friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the ambience was perfect. Great atmosphere - families, couples and groups of young people all added to a lively atmosphere. Thank you Red Lion, we’ve missed you. Keep the faggots on the menu and at least one or two decent real ales on draught and we will be regular customers again!!
The Red Lion – CoventryI love coming the Red Lion. The menu is always great, with a fantastic specials list. The service is always friendly, and it's such a good place to meet with family and friends. Best lasagna in the city!
