Had Sunday lunch. Enjoyed by both one beef and one pork. All vegetables enjoyable and nice and hot. Will return.

We often eat at the Hope and Anchor its lovely friendly pub , nice and warm in winter. With the log fire and the food is always excellent, Great for family’s has a good kids menu and lovely big garden at the rear for them to run around in summer. They day a amazing Sunday lunch

Late afternoon meal at the Hope and Anchor, Flookburgh. The book process was easy and we were give confirmation promptly. We ordered the Sunday roast which arrived in good time without being rushed. The food was wholesome and plentiful. The table was in the public bar area, which was warm and comfortable. The waitress who had taken our order was polite but the atmosphere of the room was uncomfortable. The loud inappropriate foul language from the bar area was including members of the bar staff soured the experience and on leaving we vowed not to return.

Friendly bar staff. Enjoyed a traditional rag pudding with tender meat and delicious gravy, mushy peas and chips. Had a pint of Cumbria Way, very tasty. Very dog friendly and Lily enjoyed the chips.

Always a lovely meal at The Hope and Anchor. Sunday lunch is the best and always a great service.

We came for a family meal to celebrate a birthday whilst we are staying at the haven holiday site down the road. All of the meals were piping hot and very good portion size, especially the children’s meal. We also had the apple crumble which was incredible, best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the hope and anchor. We thought it was reasonably priced too.

We booked a meal for 4 people on the 12/10/2025 it was my birthday the atmosphere when we walked in was vibrant we ordered our drinks they were bought to our table we ordered our meal presentation etc everything about the meal was delicious piping hot and our sweet was delicious service from start to finish was excellent and value for money to

Decent food, service and value for money. Wife had Sea Bass and really enjoyed. I had Steak Pie and only minor criticism was pastry a bit thick in the bottom corner, but really tasty. A bit disappointed that a Robinson's Pub had no hand-pulled ale on.
